What to do on an off-day

We've got a big family going next week and have planned to be at theme parks for three out of the four days. The fourth day we're planning as a non-park off-day. If the weather is good, we plan to go swimming, bike-riding, boating, and other outdoor activities. Easy enough. But what can we do if it rains? We're staying at OKW, and our party ranges in age from 65 to 1, with six kids ages 8 and under. Are there any resorts near OKW that have fun indoor activities for kids? Is Downtown Disney a worthwhile trip if the weather's crummy? I know DisneyQuest is all indoors, but does it contain attractions suitable for ages 2-3-4?

Just looking for some bad-weather contingencies; it would be a shame to spend our off-day in the hotel room, watching TV. I figured this forum would yield some of the most intelligent responses.

We always head over to Downtown Disney when it rains. I think Disney Quest would be fun for 4 year olds, but I'm not sure about under that age. I'm sure someone on these boards can help with that. There is also a nice movie theater in Downtown Disney, next to Planet Hollywood, for those of you in your group who enjoy movies. Downtown Disney also has lots of gift shops and a lego place that kids seem to love. There is also the Rainforest Cafe, which is fun for kids. We never seem to run out of things to do at Downtown Disney when it rains.

Rain or shine, Disney Quest is great! We love Pirates and Cyber Space Mountain. DQ is a great time.

Downtown Disney is my suggestion as well. Lots of things to do and see and lots of places to eat - including McDonalds! The Earl of Sandwich is our current favorite place to eat and the Disney Store is a must-visit. There is also a Pin store and a Christmas shop, which is fun to visit - and cooling in the summer heat! And don't forget the Lego store - great fun for kids!
