What to do in Tortolla?

We will be going to Tortolla in a couple weeks and the excursion I had booked through Disney was cancelled. All of the excursions with swimming activities are booked. Does anyone have any idea what we can do there? I really hate to get off of the ship with no plan.

You can take the ferry across the bay and go to the Baths...very nice beach. Do a google search for the baths

we will be on the Fantasy at the end of January and we are planning to take a cab to Brewer beach or Cane Garden bay for snorkeling.

We just got back from that cruise and the Baths were lovely. I highly recommend them.

Did you do the DCL excursion to the Baths?

Bostonpluto, yes we did. There were two offered, a shorter one and a longer one that included lunch. We did the shorter one and thought it was plenty of time. Also, at the top of the Baths is a great restaurant (I think it's actually called Top of the Baths or something like that). We left the beach a bit early and hiked back up for a bite to eat before our bus left. It was really good and the view was amazing. (Also really slow, though, so allow an hour if you do lunch there.)

Thanks Skiton. I am worried that the morning excursion will fill before we get to book and the afternoon one is too late for us. We may end up booking the full day which includes the lunch for a ridiculous price. Does anyone know if the restaurant offers any gluten free options? My son has celiac disease.

Does anyone have any private recommendations? We have a 3 and 5 yr old and the Disney sponsored tour won't take them that little. I think they will do fine and would love the baths.

When Disney visited Tortola years ago Patouche Charters was used and reviewed very well. I've been anxious for more DIS folks to visit Tortola and to hear more about this group...
