We will have our 3 year old. Inexpensive ideas to spend the day before we leave for the cruise? We're staying at MCO Hyatt so we're going to just rent a car for the day.

Downtown Disney/Disney Springs

Visit Resorts and eat lunch

Cape Canaveral (although three may not like)

Beach?

Ripley's Believe it or Not

You don't really want to get completely tired out just before your cruise, so I would avoid the parks. I would be tempted to visit what used to be called Downtown Disney. Check how far the construction has progressed first. Or, just hang out at your hotel's pool.

i should rephrase. We are actually staying on property after the cruise, so we are planning on DTD and resorts then :-)

Zoo?
Something more expensive would be Legoland (Towards Tampa)
Less Expensive would be the Clearwater Marine Aquarium ($22/adult, $15 for the 3yo). Small Aquarium, home to Winter the Dolphin from A Dolphin's Tale. (West of Tampa)

I have been yo that aquarium and it is quite fun but about two hours away from Orlando.

The Hyatt has a decent pool. And actually the airport is quite entertaining for little ones! The Disney store and the Universal store are pretty cool!
Sea World may be a good option for a single day..

Maybe wonder works

Gator golf (mini golf and my brother does gator shows there)

Medieval times. Fun cheesy dinner theater but a little pricey but kids love

here are some free things. everyone's idea of "inexpensive" is different LOL

also, drive up and down I drive - lots of touristy stuff like Wonder World and Ripleys and I think a huge go kart place

City Walk is Universal's Downtown Disney

kayaking?

boat tour in Winter park: scenicboattours.com

I am living vicariously thru you LOL. I grew up in FL

We went to a pirate dinner show the night before our last cruise. We all loved it (much better than Medieval Times, IMO), and it put us in a sailing mood. :-)
