What to do if you arrive at the EA and there are no cars

Hi,

I have read a few posts and want to try to get to the bottom of a problem. I have heard that if I reserve a full sized car at the EA, but when I arrive there are only compact cars, I can go to the regular aisle of full sized cars and take one from there. Does anyone know if that is true?

Yes, If your reservation is for a full size and there is not a good selection at the Isle, then you get your choice at the full size isle. Everytime we've rented from the isle there has been a great mixture of vehicles to choose from.

There were no full size cars when we went to pick ours up (at Easter time) and we got a premium car for the same price!!

So...is there an attendant at the Aisle to guide you? Or just help

I contacted National directly at the Airport (Orlando) yesterday to inquire about this myself. I was worried about arriving and having no cars available (we arrive late). Because this is the beginning of the heavy vacation season, there is a MANAGER in the garage at all times now. They said there would be no need to go back down to the counter. Hope this helps you!

Just approach the Manager if the aisle is empty! Normally, they will say go the full size aisle and choose a car - but the post above said they got a premium instead - BONUS! It is worth the try.

Hi, We used Emerald Aisle for the first time, on April 28th. We got into mco about 2pm on a busy sat afternoon. There was'nt much at the aisle. But as I was ready to pick from the full size lot, a buick Lasabre came pulling in. ( A premium car)! I took that one and smiled all the way to the exit. I did'nt see any workers other than the driver of the new car and he walked away rather quickly! This car was beautiful, a new 2001 and only had 1500 miles on it. What a treat. I hope that you have good luck too! We were only charged for our reservation of a full size.

We did find someone to ask and were told it was okay to take the premium car, so needless to say we jumped right in!!
