Hello,
Well, I have a little dilema - i'm in my early twenties, LOVE Disney, DisneyWorld and traveling - but I really don't have anyone to go to Disneyworld with - The people I used to travel with were my family but recently things have come up for them that put Disney vacations on the backburner - other vacations, new jobs, you know - the typical stuff. The last time we went will be just about 2 years ago shortly. I have been to Disneyworld 7 times now but like most, LOVE it and would love to go once a year if I could - but of course obligations happen for me to.
But, here's my situation, I booked a room at the Swan at an AMAZING rate - 125.00 a night and it's my favorite hotel in Disney (well this and the Beach Club) but no one is able to go with me - my friends are either A. Not into Disney, B. Wouldn't spend money on a Disney vacation, or C. Have no money nor to do they try to make any.
Looks like the only way I could go is if I pay for someone's trip entirely - which isn't really fair to me - in fact, it's absurd I guess. I'm always buying things for others and taking them places but I think I have to draw the line somewhere - right? Plus, not that I ever expect anything in return, but it wouldn't hurt ONCE in a while.
I'm just torn because I can't bring myself to cancel a Disney vacation that I would consider increddibly CHEAP and amazing. I wish I could meet someone who is as easy going as I am and would love the chance to go - but I don't think I have enough time to find that person...and if I don't go and this pattern keeps up - I don't know when i'll ever get back.
Well, that's my dilema - it's going to be hard to cancel - as i'm sure most of my fellow Disney lovers can understand.
