Hi there! Well...first thing tomorrow, DH and I leave for a two night anniversary trip to OKW!
This is our FIRST TIME at WDW without our beautiful DD6 (she is staying with my parents) so we want to make the most of it.
We had planned on getting to OKW early, and if our room is not ready (we are not expecting it to be) we are going to lounge around the pool and drink a few cocktails. At night we were planning on taking the boat to DTD and just walking around, getting a bite to eat, maybe check out PI (we have never been...not sure if it is worth it.)
Ok, here is where I get a teensy bit bummed...the weather report for tomorrow is HORRIBLE! They keep using the word "nasty" to describe the weather!
Ok, after all, it "IS" our anniversary trip...so I can think of a few things to occupy our time
...but after that 15 minutes is up...then what?
I am hoping there are certain activities you can suggest around OKW or any resort, as we will have a car and will be able to get around easily. Also, when it rains, is DTD pretty much out of the question? As I remember it, it is pretty much an outdoor plaza.
I am still excited about our trip, and I know I will have fun no matter what. I would be more disappointed if our DD was going with us, as going to the parks is the #1 activity to do with her. DH and I do not care if we even go to the parks at all this trip...although if there is some rainy day activity there that someone suggests, we would be open to it, as we are pass holders and can pop in and out of a park on a whim.
Thanks!
