What to do after 5pm?

We will be at the water parks for 4 days (Mon- Thu 4/19-4/22)...I know that's a lot but we're on a budget and are getting the "water park after 2pm ticket."

We have a 2 yr old and a 5 yr old who will be going to bed late and are wondering what to do after 5pm.

I've know about Chip & Dale's campfire but that's all can think of? I had seen some free ideas on the resorts (like outdoor movies or watching the fireworks) but I can't find that website. I would love a link or some ideas

Nice! I'm staying OFF property, do I need to valet park? Do I say what I'm there for? So I need any special pass?

I will be surprised if they have a late bedtime after a few days in the water park!! WEARS me out!

Down Town Disney is a fun choice. The lego store, fountains to play in, good chocolate.

Put-Put is fun

The Chip and Dale movie night at Fort Wilderness.

A character meal at a resort then ride to monorail around to visit the other resorts.

Pizza night at your hotel

We are not going to have a car, but if we did, I would plan a trip to the big McDonalds on property for lunch or dinner. I understand, and please correct me if I am wrong, that they have chicken parmesan and other non Mickey D foods. Even pizza I think. They also have some games and things I think. Not free, but sounds like fun!

Also a lot of the resorts have activities in the evenings. I know AKL has drummers and stories for the kids, animal viewing. WL has the geyser, you can see the fireworks from the beach, or also at the poly!!

There is always the monorail to ride also. Have a wonderful vacation!

We were just there, and the McDonald's at Downtown Disney just had regular McDonald's food (and yes, it was lunch time so my kids were hungry so yes, we ate that stuff on vacation when we could have gone to Wolfgang Puck express or something a bit better!). We eat McDonald's out of convenience a lot at home!

Downtown Disney does have some fun stores, and Wolfgang Puck's express as well as the regular downstairs restaurant are wonderful!

The Boardwalk area is super fun at night - watching the performers is fun. I guess you would have to park at the Boardwalk - we self parked but you could valet (we were staying off site but at at the Boardwalk for dinner one night).

I agree - mini golf is a fun idea. Or you could just chill and order pizza and watch a movie? My kids would be totally wiped out if they were at a water park all day.

Remember sunscreen and rash guards! Hope it's a fun trip!

All the resorts you just drive to the security gate. You show them your ID and tell them you are just checking it out. They will flag you on and you can park in guest parking.

You could walk around the various hotels. AK has a storytime around a campfire, the children do a little parade, view the animals. DTD has the lego area they can play in. Some of the resorts have movies by the pool but you can't really hear the movie with all the people swimming. The Poly is a good viewing site for the fireworks (music piped in) and they have the parade on water.
