Let me start off by saying two things..

All of my shopping will be done online (for health reasons)..

I am cutting back considerably this year because no one really has indicated specific items that they really, really, really want.. LOL..

So - I've been surfing the internet and have found some items that I think I would like to purchase.. I have put them in my "cart", but haven't actually placed the orders yet.. I don't think they are "hot" items that will end up being out of stock, so that's not a concern..

Some of these places (all of which I have done business with before) are currently having various sales - free shipping or % off, etc.. Because I've done business with all of them before, I get emails every day with some kind of special "offer"..

So - do I order now - or wait until Thanksgiving/Black Friday to see if they offer even better deals?

I'm not worried about items arriving on time.. I've ordered from places right up until a couple of days before Christmas and everything arrived in time..

What would you do? :goodvibes

I set a price that I won't pay over and if an item drops below that I'll most likely grab it when it does. Sometimes it works and other times it has gone down further but as long as I'm happy about what I did pay I try not to get bothered by it. If you are looking for items that are generally on big discounts on BF, I would wait, but if its just run of the mill stuff at a price you can live with, I'd get it now. Of course I normally get all my shopping done by BF so I might not be the right person to ask

Two orders have been placed - one has shipped already..

Now I have two other orders - in two different places - with items sitting in the cart.. When I hit the "submit" button on each, my shopping will officially be done! :thumbsup2

But - do I do it tomorrow? Friday? Or Black Monday?

Whatever day I do it, I won't go back and "look" at those sites again - because if the price dropped lower, I'll want to tear my hair out for not waiting..:rotfl::rotfl:

Don't forget about Cyber Monday too. There are always great deals on Monday after Thanksgiving. :thumbsup2
