What to buy my friends...

I just took stamps with me and sent them all a postcard. Hardly anyone sends postcards anymore. You would be surprised to hear how cool they thought it was.

For my more special friends, I brought home Disney coffee, a couple of antenna toppers, a couple of Stitch & Tink decals for cars, and pins.

Overall, this is a really subjective question. It really depends on what your friends like. Maggie

major hit with all of our family are these wine stoppers that are metal and in the shape of Mickey's head. Some are silver, some are gold, some are plain and some have his Soceer's Hat on. They are very different and very useful, if you drink wine!

Hey Kapp
Where did you get the wine stops? And do you remember how much they were? That would be the perfect thing for our dog sitter.

We brought back "mickey mints" for the ten or so people on the same project at work as DH.

wine stoppers at one of the kitchen stores. I know the one in Frontier Land near the shooting gallery had them but say them in all the parks where they sold kitchen items.

One time I had a friend buy a pack of pens and then she gave one to several of us in the office. I loved mine and I thought it was great that she brought us something. I'm sure that it didn't cost her too much, since she bought them in a pack.

In Frontierland, right next to the shooting gallery, there's a store that sells little glycerin soaps in the shape of a Mickey head. They're only $1 or $1.50 each, so they're great for officemates, etc. That store has a lot of cute stuff that I didn't see anywhere else.

I remember in Animal Kingdom (though I'm sure they're other places) one of the stores sells Disney post it notes. They would be good for officemates, too.

For friends...well, depends on how much you want to spend and what they like, but there are a lot of really cute and different things available. Pins are fun.

lol I just asked my dh's advice on this and he said, "How much do they like their friends?"

As we all know, souvenir's at Disney often cause your wallet to lose some weight, so buying for friends can be tough when you are so tempted to buy things for yourself!

When I go, I always buy my friends the pens that are shaped like the characters heads. They like them and use them all the time, and they are not very expensive, so you can buy lots of them.

Last time I brought back antena toppers. Not too expensive. For my one friends that does not have a car, but has an italian charm bracelet, I brought her back a mickey head charm.

I bought several packs of park pens (about $12 for 6) - every one in my office picked out their favorites and I kept the leftovers! It just brightens my day to be using a Magic Kingdom pen intead of a plain old bic! (I also use my refillable mug everyday - I need every bit of magic I can get lately!) :earsgirl:
