What to buy a 4-1/2 year old girl?

If the gift was for a boy I would have no problem deciding what to buy, but I am struggling with a gift for a little girl. The gift is for my neice for Christmas, she is actually a little closer to 5 than 4-1/2, any thoughts or ideas would really be appreciated.

Anything Barbie,Princess,Hello Kitty. Dress up clothes or pretend make-up. I have a 5 year old and she loves all of this stuff!!

My five year old loves art supplies, books, Disney Princess stuff.

One of the girls I buy for liked the Fisher Price dollhouses at 4-5. One liked art and craft stuff, one liked anything shiny (dress up clothes with play jewelry, plastic shoes with sparkles, etc.), one wanted puzzles and Pajama Sam for the computer.

It does really depend on what she likes.
