We are taking our kids to disney for their first time over Thanksgiving! We will be there for 5 days and my brother will be flying down to join us. It wasn't certain that we would be able to go until a couple weeks ago so much of the planning has been a bit last minute. Staying on property ended up not being an option due to the holiday pricing. We have a reservation for a character dinner and for Be Our Guest on Thanksgiving and plan on bringing stuff for breakfast in the morning and snacks and water to the parks. That being said, what do you think is a realistic budget for a single guy really only responsible for himself for lunch & dinner for 5 days plus souvenirs. Think $400-$450 is enough?

It depends on how many souvenirs he buys and how big of an eater he is, but I would think that would be enough money.

DH and I went to Disney in Sept. for 7 days and spent about that (maybe a tad more) for breakfast/lunch/dinner for both of us and sometimes even
picked up DD's bill. We did not do any character dining.

Hope that helps and hope you have a FANTASTIC time! We sure did!!
