We'll be in the World in 3 weeks for 8 days. It's our first trip bringing our 2 1/2 year old and 14 month old. What are some must-have items we need to bring or is there a link that lists items? Thanks in advance for your help!

sippy cups/children's utensil's and a little bottle of dish soap. We found that very useful for washing in the room and the sippy cups were great especially in AK with the paper straws that just don't cut it. We also found disposable bibs handy.
Portable fan kept DS occupied and cool. It was great for HM where he was a bit scared but instead he payed attention to the fan.
Lots of clothes (more than you'd think) unless you are planning on doing wash. DS went through at least 2 outfits per day. I was not ready for that. He was very messy and a couple of times soaked through his diaper if I couldn't change him quick enough.

Tons of diapers. We were constantly giving DS liquids. Mainly for the heat, but also to keep him quiet at different times. He was SOAKING through his diapers very quickly and we went through almost twice as many a day than as at home.

Sippy cups and utensils. None of the restaurants have kid utensils and at that age he got very frustrated with the regular sized ones. He also didn't do well with a straw so sippy's a must. We washed everything with dishsoap in the room at night.

Lots of clothes, or plan to do wash.

Stroller clip on fan. Lifesaver for him with how hot it gets at times.

Ziploc bags (gallon size). You cannot even begin to imagine how many uses you will find for these.

On my 'Be sure to pack' list for ds (3) and I:

Small white noise machine (we generally sleep with white noise)
Ds's little blankie and his bear
A sippy sport bottle (found a Cars one) with a carry strap so it can hang off the stroller
Ponchos for all of us
Small cans of playdoh and other small toys for meals/waits
Large beach towel (placed in the bottom of the stroller basket, we can use it for sitting on, covering ds up to change him in the park, place over the sunshade for even more coverage on the odd chance that he might fall asleep)
