I know when you see my signature you will say it is a little early to start thinking about this but --what can I say I am a DIS addict!!:surfweb:

What do you bring and what quantity? I have reviewed the 5minstodisney website (& am lurking to see when I can view availability & book my deposit).

Our son will be 2 1/2 by then so we will definitely cook meals--breakfast, lunches, dinners. Although I am sure we will do a character breakfast and two dinners--one HoopDeDoo Review (sp? my apologies).

I will probably do a combination of Garden Grocer & mail stuff down. I look forward to all of your feedback.

Hey another Chicago person! :wave2:

If you've seen my website actually check the "FAQs"...there's all kinds of good information there on Windsor Hills and rental homes in general, basically, what to bring, what's provided, what isn't provided in a typical rental home, that sort of thing (although there's slight variation from home-home).

At 2 1/2 I would probably skip Hoop De Doo, but I would definitely recommend the new character dining at Hollywood and Vine with all of the Playhouse Disney characters, Jojo, Goliath, June and Leo. We had 2 2 year olds with us on this last trip, and this was the biggest hit of their whole trip! hehe I would also suggest the character dining at Chef Mickey's, we've been there a bunch of times, but waited too long this past trip and couldn't get in.

I think unless you have asked the owner what the home has for amenities I could not say exactly.

Here is a rough geusstamate

food
toiletries
pool towel if not supplied
something for the pool for 2.5 yo
night lite if needed

Before I made up our list I would ask the owner specifics and lighten your load if all is supplied.

Most everything that is non-consumable will likely be provided. Each home is different, so the easiest way to check is ask the owner.
