We are going Dec. 12 - 19th '09. What time would you make ADR's each day if you want to get back for Candlelight processional, spectomagic, Osborne Lights, Fantasmic, Illuminations, etc? We have park hopper passes and the places we are hoping to eat are 1900 Park Fare (dinner), Chef Mickey's (dinner), Boma (dinner), Garden Grill (dinner same night as CP), San Angel Inn and maybe Askerhaus. I know we will be doing a lot of "commuting" from park to dinner and back!! But we will have our own car.
So what time each day do we need to plan dinner to get back to parks with the parks closing earlier in December? We are used to going in the summer when it wasn't as much of a concern.

For the Candelight Processional, I would plan on purchasing the dining package, and just eating in Epcot that day. Otherwise, you may or may not get a seat in the theater. If you don't care about sitting to watch, plan on seeing the last show, which will allow you more time to get back to the park. You should be able to get Garden Griill as one of the package restaurant choices, as well as your other two Epcot choices.

Since you list a couple other Epcot choices, I would plan on doing DHS on one of those nights. Get the earliest dinner reservation you can (or check their menus and see if a late lunch would work for you) then just take the boat from International Gateway to DHS. Count on about an hour transportation - 30 minutes ride time on the boat and a maximum of about 20 minutes wait time, if you just miss a boat.

Chef Mickeys is a good choice for a night at MK. You should make your reservation for when they open, then since it's a buffet, you can pretty much time yourself to get out in time to get to MK. You can walk from CR, it takes about 15 minutes at a leisurely pace, or allow about 30 minutes for the monorail, since you'll have to make three stops before you get to MK.
