What time do the internal busses start running each morning. This is our first time at WDW and from what I understand we catch a bus inside FW to take us to a specific location inside Fort Wilderness and from there we catch a bus/boat to the different Parks.

Is this correct and do they start early enough to get to MK on EMH by 7:30 if the park opens 8 a.m?

Thanks for any info.

The first buses start around 6:30 - 6:40 inside the campground. However, to get to EMH at MK, get on one of the smaller launches to the Contemporary, then walk over to the MK. The bigger boats going directly to MK don't start till 8:00 - 8:30 am even on EMH mornings.

If you need a wheelchair accessible way to get to MK EMH, then take a bus to Wilderness Lodge from the Settlement depot, then a bus to MK from Wilderness Lodge.

We went last week and we rode the bigger boats to EMH. We got on around 7:30:confused3

That's great!! Reports I had read indicated the bigger boats did not operate for early EMH.

Yup, the boats are running for EMH. I remember riding one back from MK last June at about 1:30am. I wasn't sure how crowded the late EMH was going to be but it was great. The later (earlier:lmao: ) it got the less folks that were there. Everything was pretty much a walk-on. My daughters and I stayed for the late EMH, my DW and DM went back to the trailer early.

When we tent camped I though I heard internal bus brakes all night long, although spaced farther apart (non-peak time of year). Can anyone else confirm that they never actually stop running?

I know they run till a minimum of 3am because the last bus leaves Pleasure Island about 2:15 am, then travel time to the Fort, then an internal bus to the campsites. When MK has late EMH till 3am, then I would imagine the internal buses could run as late as 4 - 4:30 am.

Then there are busses transporting CMs around, (though not sure how many are needed overnight inside the campground)

The buses start up again at about 6:30 am

Regarding the bus noise...which partial loop would be quieter? 1500 or 2000? Or will it not really matter?

Loop 2000 is larger, so it you get in the back of the loop, you'll be quite a ways from the main road, but other than that no difference.
