What time to be in Universal for HHN with Stay and Scream?

We are spending 3 nights in Disney and 2 at Universal. Was just wondering if it would be easier to go to Animal Kingdom the morning we move to PBH and do Halloween Horror Nights or the morning before MNSSHP. For what it's worth we will have express passes for HHN and the day we are going to MNSSHP will be the day after we arrive, which will have been a pretty long day considering we are taking a 7:00 Am flight.

You're fine as long as you're through the gates any time before closing. Leave at least a 15 min. window so you can be in and at the Stay & Scream area. Don't use your EPs for the the first houses as you won't need them with S&S. Then you can do those houses again later when the lines build if you liked them. We have seen people use EPs when there is literally no line...one S&S day they waited longer than everyone else because they had to stop twice to be scanned while the rest of us from the holding pen walked right in.

The Studios will close at 5pm on HHN nights so you'd need to be in the park by 4:30pm or so to allow for delays getting in. If you do S & S and have an EP for HHN, you should have no problems doing just about everything.

My flight doesn't arrive until 2:30 the first night I'm attending HHN. It'll be cutting it close to get checked in at RPR AND I have to get my APs activated at Guest Services as well. Hopefully there are no delays anywhere.
