What time to be at the dock?

If we want to be at MK by 8:20 am, what time do we need to be at the dock? How often do the launches leave? We will be in a cabin with a golf cart so about how long will it take from the cabins (say we are in the cabins fartherest out) to the dock? Oh yeah, we go in July so factor in lots of people going to the docks!! Thanks for the help. While we are at it, how long does it take to drive to the other parks early (arriving around 8:30 am), park and get to the turnstiles?? Just trying to plan. We like to be at rope drop.

The boat ride is about 20 minutes (give or take). I would get there a little before 8:00. On a golf cart, it will take you about 10 minutes to get to the dock. Even though it's July, the dock will not be too crowded at 8am.

Driving to the Magic Kingdom would take you about 15 minutes, from start to finish.
