What time to be at MK parking lot for pre-open ADR?

If I have a BOG ADR at 8:05, what time should I aim to be pulling into the MK parking lot for ? Park opens at 9.

This is my first time staying off site and so my first time not using Disney transportation to the parks.

It seems complicated and a bit overwhelming thinking of having to park, take a tram, then a monorail/ferry just to get to the turnstile. Sigh. I already wish we were staying on site

Thanks.

:faint: That is so much earlier than we are used to, but if it means we don't have to jostle with the rope drop crew, I suppose it is worth it. Plus I am really looking forward to BOG for the first time !

If it makes you feel any better about staying offsite, we sometimes opt to drive to MK for a pre-park breakfast even when we stay onsite. That makes it more within our control to get there on time. We have taken Disney busses also, but we also have to be at the bus stop no later than 7 to make sure we can get on a bus that will get us there on time. It is kind of nice being one of the only cars in the parking lot. Just be aware that some of the CMs at the TTC may not know to tell you to look for the resort monorail. We saw nothing running one morning when we got to the TTC at 7 am and when we asked a couple of CMs, they said nothing would be running until 8. They got us a private van transportation to the MK.

I posted about our early morning experience at the TTC in September. It is a fun vacation story.

7:15, and you won't have to take the tram. You'll be parked very close to the tunnel and will be able to walk over to the resort monorail (express won't be running yet).
Oh that's great to know - one less step. Thanks!

 That is SO my family - we call ourselves the Griswalss all the time. I could definitely see this happening to us, so thank you so much for the heads up about the resort monorail! Much appreciated!
