What time to be at bus stop??

We have an 8:05am reservation at CRT at Magic Kingdom on a morning when MK opens at 9. My question is, what time do you think we should we be at the Port Orleans- Riverside bus stop in order to make this reservation? Thank you so much!

If I were you, to be on the safe side, I would just be at the bus stop at 7 am. Buses run every 15-20 minutes but you don't want to risk missing a bus and waiting a full 20 minutes for the next bus, IMO. If your reservation is at 8:05, I would try to be at MK by 7:45, giving you time to get in, maybe take a few pics, and show up for your ADR.

Seven at the latest. And if a bus doesn't show up in 20-25 minutes, walk to the front and get a taxi. You don't want to wait too long for a bus, and end up late. The only issue is with a taxi you will get dropped off at the TTC so you will still have to boat or monorail to the Magic Kingdom.

If you take a taxi, go to the Contemporary Resort. It's only a 5-10 min walk from there- faster than taking the boat or monorail.

Great point! Much quicker than going thru the TTC!

I may be wrong (happens more than I'd like!), but I was under the impression that the buses don't start running until an hour before a specific park opens. So...... if that is true and the MK doesn't open until 9:00, the buses wouldn't be running much before 8:00. In that case, the OP would need to take a taxi.

Someone please correct me if that is not accurate.

Nope! Buses start running around 6:30 a.m., but they are not as frequent that early in the morning. We've had many 8:00 breakfasts and cave never been late for one with the buses!

I didn't know they started at 6:30 a.m. - good to know. I thought the buses started one hour prior to the earliest breakfast ADR available.

From what I've been told it's 7 am regardless of when the parks open.

I can confirm that it's 6:30 that the busses start running, at least during our visits. They do this specifically to accommodate guests with early ADRs/tours at the parks.

I believe it's the monorail that starts running at 7.
