What time of day are dining reservations available at the 60 day mark?

I would like to reserve the Fantasmic dining package for our trip in late October. I've never had a problem making these reservations in the past, but I've noticed they are getting booked very fast lately. I'm sure this is due to the new show.

So, it looks like I'll need to be ready to book the minute they become available. Exactly what time does this happen? I've heard midnight pst, and I've also heard 7am pst. So, which is it?

Pretty sure it is 8AM Pacific time. And very few things, if any, at DLR require this kind of WDW like attention to timing.

I totally agree. We made our first trip to WDW this June. I got every reservation I wanted, but it was so much harder than Disneyland. The advanced planning for WDW is ridiculous.

But, go look at the Disneyland website. The Blue Bayou Fantasmic dining dinners are mostly booked. The ones that became available today were gone before lunch. 60 days out.

I have been making my reservations in the last couple of days - we are there 9/27 - 10/4. Whilst it's true most things at D/L you can usually get a reservation for close to your date you are very correct - the BB Fantasmic pkgs are going VERY fast, like in the first 1-4hrs. I kept an eye on it for the previous few days to see when my date would show up. It was going day by day appearing available at 3am PST to book.

The MHP tickets went on sale at midnight PST however the dining reservations go live online at 3am PST - it works out very conveniently for me here in Perth, Western Australia as it is 6pm here which is a much more sociable time! I have read the phone lines open at 7am.

I was very lucky - I had been looking at the Fantasmic pkg for 9/30 or 10/1. I went with 9/30. Turned out to be a VERY good decision! They did not release the packages for BB or WOC yet for 10/1 - someone on the Fantasmic thread posted that they got up to make the booking at 3am and nothing. Rang at 7am and were told by the CM that the schedule hasn't been decided yet so the packages are not yet able to be booked.

It is not unusual for them not to release the packages at the 60day mark but will be problematic for someone trying to nab a BB pkg as they are going so fast and it is unpredictable when they will be on sale. You should be ok for the end of October though as once they decide and start releasing the bookings for October it should go back to appearing day by day and you will get a sense for what day / time you will need to book.

BB Fantasmic pkg is the only one at the moment that is selling out SUPER quick - everything else seems ok. Hope that helps : )

Thanks for the info! I live in California, so it looks like I may be getting up at 3am...

Yep, I was the one on the other thread who stayed up until 1 a.m last night. Then woke up at 3:00 a.m. then at 6:00 a.m. Then I called right at opening, nope. Still salty about that! lol

Keep in mind that there is also no guarantee that they will open at 3 a.m., unfortunately. Kind of a hit and miss thing it seems.

Minnieralyks - I felt VERY bad for you. How incredibly frustrating : ( I hope you have luck getting what you're after when they finally get round to releasing October. I will keep my fingers and toes crossed for you : )
