Hi all!

Do you need to be in the queue for the princess pavillion in emh or can you still get tickets for the day if you come in at normal opening? Just trying to plan our days!
Thanks in advance :) x

Ah the princesses. You can't get in line early enough! The wait time is huge during the day and I don't understand how little ones can wait 90 minutes to see a princess for 5 minutes but that comes from an adult.

Yes, be first in line if you can as it is time well spent to be there early!

If you start queuing at 9.30 for a 10.30 ticket issue, you should get a morning timeslot no worries. And remember, only one person needs to queue with all your party's park tickets, which works really well if you have more than one adult in your group as the rest can go on a ride or two. I have to admit that in August the CMs didn't ask to see park tickets at all, you just told them how many you needed entry for! But DH always had them in case.

As an example, we got one ticket at 10.30 (for late morning), then DH joined the queue straight away and got another for mid-afternoon. At about 12.30 he got another for the evening. And if the time they offer you clashes with something else (e.g. dinner reservation), you can ask for an alternative slot :thumbsup2

Hi all,

Sorry to ask on someone elses thread, but can anyone who knows go over the process for seeing the Princesses via the disabled entrance?

Thanks

Are they still doing appointments? I know some points during the year in the past they haven't had them, especially 'out of season'.....

I'm not sure what the current situation is but yes you're right, they do sometimes remove the reservation system in low season.

I think OP is going at Christmas so it will surely be in place. Actually minnie you may well need to queue before 9.30 seeing as Anna & Elsa will be in the PP :-)

carlins_leap, if the ticket system is operating you go to the left of the main queue at the right hand side of the Old Mill and there are CMs there who will ask for your park tickets and your disabled person's Priority Card / Easy Access Card. They will then give you a ticket with a time to come back - a half hour window.

When it is the time on the card you go to the disabled entrance which is to the left of the entrance to It's a Small World - up a ramp and ring a bell at the top. A CM will come out, check your ticket and probably your Green / Orange card again and take you in through the exit so you don't have to queue. As you go in the 2 current princesses will be on the screens to your right - some CMs will ask which one you prefer.

If the ticket system is not operating I believe you just go to the disabled entrance and ring the bell.

Thanks so much Anemone - that is perfect :)

We've been during half-terms before and they've not had a ticketing system in operation (we've just always gone to the exit doors to have the access card checked).

We'll make sure it's one of the first things we check each day.

Thanks again!

Sorry to butt in, but this has changed since we last went. My lovely Mum queued from EMH last time (8 am ish) while we went on some rides, as there was no ticket system in place. It was a long old haul!

Where do we go to get tickets please? Is it at the PP? Does ticket system start at 9.30 am? As there is no EMH in the park while we are there, I'm guessing the park won't open until 10 am anyway :confused3.

Not sure we'll bother with PP this time though. I think the girls would rather queue for the Halloween characters but I'd like to be prepared just in case :thumbsup2.

Start queing at park opening if no EMH. Its extremely bust and tickets are usually gone by 11am. The queue is by the Old Windmill :-)

Yikes, thanks Lisa! We may give it a miss this trip then! We've done it plenty of times before. I think the girls will be more interested in Halloween characters this trip tbh! But, if Anna & Elsa were there it would be a different matter altogether :rolleyes1. We will just have to put it on our 'WDW' to do list for next summer! :thumbsup2

We cancelled Halloween and moved it to Christmas for those two - they better be worth it ;-)

I just really hope they think about how they are going to organise it. If it's anything like Florida, 5-7 hour waits in standby was the norm :scared1: until they started FPs and even then, offsite people were still struggling to get FPs as they can only book 30 days out, as opposed to 60 days out if staying onsite.

The girls have pretty much met all the Princesses at DLP. I think Pocahontas is one of the only ones we haven't. They will be much more made up if they meet Maleficent this trip I'm sure :cloud9:.

I've just seen on Twitter that the daily itinerary thing for the parks is out for 1st - 10th October. It mentions Princess Pavilion, but nothing about getting appointment tickets (which I'm sure other times of the year it does?). So I'm guessing we should assume that the need to queue at the Mill has gone for now.....

Thanks for that. I would assume it will be back on for half term week though as everyone and his dog is off that week :crazy2:.
