What time is the beast at dinner?

Sorry, tried googling it already and I'm sure it's on disboards somewhere, what hours is The Beast at BOG dinner. And, I know he doesn't go from table but does he do anything or just stand in one place for photos? Thank you,

He is pretty much there all the time but takes short 15 minutes breaks. He does a short walk through the restaurant after each break, but does not stop at any tables. He then goes to a special room for photos. You basically line up in that room after you have finished your meal and have the picture taken. You will not miss him.

Unless for some reason he isn't there that night. Which can happen.

What? He's not always there? We had dinner last December to meet the Beast and have booked again for this December to meet the Beast again. I had no idea he might not appear. Gutted!

I was thinking the same thing.

There are times that characters you expect might not be available. The "friend" scheduled to be there might have an emergency and have to call-in. If there are no other "friends" available to fill in, he would not be there. Certain characters have more friends available than others, but for those that do not, they may have to cancel an appearance.

It's rare for the Beast not to make an appearance but it can happen. No character is guaranteed at any character meal.

The Beast is usually there for all the dinner period. He meets for approximately 30 minutes at a time and then takes a 15 minute break. He doesn't visit the tables. When he returns from his break, he is announced and walks through the dining area, waving at his guests before he goes to his meeting area. You can only meet the Beast when you was finished dining and have paid your bill. You will be asked when you line up if you have finished dining. You cannot return to your table once you line up to meet him. Sometimes the line gets long, however we have never waited longer then 15 minutes. Usually it's closer to 5-10. It's one of my favourite meet and greets.

Our dinner time is at 8:30, so doubt we can eat and meet him before he leaves at 10:00 PM

If the Beast is leaving for the evening, someone will come to your table or an announcement will be made to tell you that Beast will be retiring for the evening. This is the only time that you can go meet him and then return to your table afterwards to finish your meal. We usually leave BOG within 90 minutes so you'll be toward the end of your meal before Beast is getting ready to leave for the night.
