What Time is the 4 o'clock Rain? -- Updates 11/2-4 -- Tim's surprise and Marco&Recap

I'm sorry you are having a bad day at work. You want me to punch someone's lights out?
I SHOULD HAVE POINTED OUT THAT ONCE TIM'S SURPRISE IS REVEALED ON SATURY, I WILL LET YOU ALL KNOW WHAT I DID FOR HIM. IT TRULY WASN'T THAT BIG OF A DEAL. BUT I KINDA LIKE THE GUY AND WAS GLAD I COULD DO IT.

Today is much better.. especially when we are talking about how people over the age of 30 should not use the word bestie... well my friend and co-worker turns to me and said:
If you let me lick my finger and stick it in your ear.. you can call me your bestie"

yeah that really happened...

DID i mention:

marco

just thought i would do it in Suzi's report?!? :confused3

So are you guys on a first-name basis with all of the PhotoPass photographers yet? :rotfl2:

You got a lot of great shots. Those pictures ain't cheap, so you might as well get your money's worth! :thumbsup2

I love the 1st picture of you two in Paris! You both just seem to shine!

Thank you, Dee. :)

I wish we had had taken more PP pictures.
Personally, I will never get sick of seeing your PP's. !!!

You are very kind.

We haven't done the "movie" countries in many many years. Maybe we will start to do one per Epcot trip.

I like to do one or two a trip, depending on what we did previous year. Next year, we will probably only see the one in China.

can't wait to see what it is :hyper:

Patience, patience. ;)

I'm getting the PP+ for our trip so if we get some PP photos together I'm happy to share :goodvibes

Thanks; you are the second one who offered. :)

you got some very sweet photos in Epcot, you definitely cruised around the world pretty quickly!

It was going to rain and we wanted to get them done before we left for the day.

Gross! But I am glad you are having a better day.

Yes you did, and I responded POLO!

So are you guys on a first-name basis with all of the PhotoPass photographers yet? :rotfl2:

You would think we would be after this trip. :rotfl2:

You got a lot of great shots. Those pictures ain't cheap, so you might as well get your money's worth! :thumbsup2

They definitely are not cheap; but, luckily, it only cost me $20 as we did a share. Something I don't think we will be able to do with the new system. :(

I love all of the photopass pictures, please feel free to post all of them! :thumbsup2 I don't think I ever see any PP photographers out in the WS...only the one in France! I love the pictures in Morocco and Germany, I'll have to look out for them!

And I can't even walk by that perfume shop in France...instant migraine! :faint:

After getting yet more photopass pictures taken in Germany, we looked at the clouds and decided it was going to rain some more soon and we best get a move on it.

We stopped and talked to a CM at Spaceship Earth on our way out. They indicated it was supposed to reopen the day we were flying home after our time in Marco. Mark offered that we leave Marco REALLY early the morning we were flying out of Orlando and and stop at Epcot on the way to the airport so I could ride Spaceship Earth. Didn't I tell you I had THE best husband in the world?:love: I told him that was very sweet and we would think about it and see how tired we were from our fun and games with Nicki and Todd.

We stopped at the Guest Relations and picked up our Disney Visa photo (previously posted, but here it is again):

We stopped for a few more photopass pictures on our way out.

We said goodbye to Epcot and walked to the car. Neither one of us really had a feel for a plan this evening, so as I was checking FB, I noted that a DISer who I was very anxious to meet, had posted that she was at the new Art of Animation resort. Mark and I had wanted to check it out anyway, so we decided to go over there and check it out and meet my DIS friend.

Inside the lobby:

Mark needed a bio-break, so I said I'd meet him in the gift shop.

I saw Susi and Bradey who we had met earlier in the trip (Solana131) and gave her the "sssh" sign so I could sneak up on:

Yep, I met the famous D (DMGeurts here on the DIS) who makes those beautiful custom Disney bags. I was so happy that we were able to work it out as we feared with D and girls not having park hoppers and us being at different parks, we wouldn't be able to meet.

We met D's beautiful girls, V and A, and although our visit was short, we had a great time with them. My only regret is we didn't get a picture with Suzi in it too.

We soon parted ways and Mark and I went to explore the outside of the resort. I only got two pictures because it kept drizzling and I didn't want to get Andy's camera wet (he lets me use his every trip) and plus it was dark and I didn't think they'd turn out:

After our tour, we went back to the resort, had an ice cream treat and another Turtle Krawl and went back to the room to finish up packing as we had a special surprise tomorrow for Mark.

Up next, let's take a tour, shall we?

We were up super early (6:00 if I remember correctly) to shower, have a quick bite to eat, pack up the remainder of our stuff, load up the car and leave our home of the last seven nights.

Bye Old Key West (I'll see you in May/June with the girls):

We were headed here:

We parked the car and walked over to the TTC:

We saw these guys from our monorail ride:

Mark knew by this time what we were doing and he was getting more and more excited.

We checked in for our Keys to the Kingdom Tour and got our bottle of water for the tour and told we could walk up and down Main Street until it was closer to our departure time. So what does one do with an almost empty Main Street? Take pictures of course.

I met Mark back up with the group. We were given our little headphones so we could listen to our guide give the tour. Our guide was Molly and she was THE best CM we have ever encountered. Friendly, professional, always with a smile, funny, etc. It is a wonderful tour and I strongly encourage everyone to try it once. Unfortunately, you are not allowed to take pictures at all during the tour, but we learned a few secrets and really enjoyed it. About half way through the tour, they provide you with lunch at Columbia Harbor House (you get to select your meal when you check in) and it is included in the price of the tour. We also got a "Key" to show we had done the tour. We would definitely do this again.

After our tour, Mark and I stopped in the Emporium to look for a postcard, went and got me a coffee at Starbucks and then it was time to hit the road. We were anxious to get going now as we were going to Nickiland to see Nicki and Todd. As we were getting ready to leave the Magic Kingdom, we ran into these two wonderful people and we were able to get a picture with them. I present you with the Mayor and his wife:

We left the MK, said see you real soon, and got in the car for our drive to Marco Island.

We spotted this as we left Disney property:

Up next, on the road to Marco and did we make the wrong decision of our route?

Did someone say MARCO????

What do you mean NO PICTURES?!?!? what is that?!?! the HORROR! :badpc:

so what are the secrets! :scratchin and don't give me that it's a secret!!! :rotfl2:

again your pictures are just adorable. you two are so cute!!!!!

excited to hear about MARCO (polo) and Nikkiland!!!!

Before I move on to the last installment you posted, I need to talk about the others. I'm so so very sorry that Spaceship Earth was closed and you couldn't ride in memory of your father. I know that you were heartbroken. That Mark is one sweet man to try and sweep your worries and cares away. :thumbsup2

As you may remember, we wanted to do the tour this past trip but knew that Mama would never be able to do all of the walking. It's definitely on the radar for our May, 2014 trip. Ya'll have had an amazing trip....lots of Dis Meets....great Photopass pictures....and lots of memories. That's a practically perfect vacation to me. ;)

The tour sounds like fun. I really wanted to try one this trip but my DH doesn't. We are only there for 5 full days since we are going to the dark side this trip. Maybe when he retires in a couple of years and vacation won't be an issue. He works 7 days a week and does not slow down.

Ah Kathy, I just can't keep up with you. ;)

But I am all caught up again. I was pretty sure you would love the KTTK tour. We have been several times and why they take you the same way every time the information you will be given is dependent on the CM - so you will learn something new the second time around as well.

I can't believe your WDW part is already over, but I am sure you enjoyed Nickiland quite as much - and I will enjoy reading all about it. :thumbsup2

Kathy, I have never been on Main Street when it was nearly empty; however, that is about to change. This upcoming trip we have an 8:00 in the morning ADR for the Crystal Palace. I'm not overly excited about buffet breakfast foods, but I can't wait to see the MK empty and hope to get some great pictures.

So after doing the Keys to the Kingdom Tour did you find it worth doing? I have been thinking of doing this myself when we go back as a family for our June trip.

And as always, I love following your TR's. :thumbsup2

i have not been to one of the circlevision shows in years, i just seem to always get a really bad headache in them...so not sure when i will try them again...but thanks for posting the pictures in there.
:thumbsup2

All caught up again! Now I need to hop over and get caught up on your new PTR. Probably going to have to save that for tomorrow since it's almost time to go home from work.

Way too much to comment on everything but here's a few random thoughts that crossed my mind while reading.

I still don't believe that it rains in Florida. :rotfl: In my last five trips I've had less than an hour each time of rain. Guess I just keep getting lucky. Last week we had a grand total of 10 minutes the whole week. I think you took all the rain for us when you were there.

I really want to sword fight with Mark someday!!

Your balloon story had me in tears as it always does. I really should not read those updates when I'm at work. ::yes:: This year was the sixth anniversary of my Dad's passing. So sad for you that Spaceship Earth was closed.

I am so jealous that you got to see Pluto in the Visa Meet! I've done it twice now and haven't gotten him yet. Also jealous of the Winnie the Pooh signatures that you have on your photos. They are not available for me for some reason. :confused3

Loved reading about your KTTK tour. I'm looking so forward to that one with my Mom in February.

Great update. I have wanted to do that tour. Maybe when the girls are a bit older. Good bye Disney, hello Nicki!!

Yet more awesome photos
Mark is clearly an absolute gem - offering to drive back early so you can ride spaceship earth, what a wonderful hubby you have :)

Yay for meeting D~! That's so great that you were able to connect. I think there were 50 Dismeets between the two of you!

How very sweet of Mark to offer to make time for SE later in the trip. What a guy!

I love your empty Main Street photos. :thumbsup2

You are so good that you didn't spill the beans on some of the Disney magic with the tour highlights. It was soooo hard for me to keep my camera in my bag but I was 100% compliant! I think all of the CMs that do the tours are top notch. We had a different guide but she was a good friend of someone we know so that worked out well.

The Mayor and Hildegard - what a great photo!! :)

Nickiland fun begins!

Finally caught up! So Sad you were not able to go on Spaceship earth. Mark really is a great husband trying to make you so happy in a hard time. Your Visa photo came out so cute!

Another Great update! Always sad to leave but exciting you have another adventure to get to! I am glad to hear you enjoyed the Keys to the kingdom tour. I Have been debating it for my trip next week. I figured I am going solo so it may be a good time to do the tour.
