Glad your trip got off to such a smooth start!

Despite having lived in Chicago or the Chicago area for 7 years before I moved to NYC, I somehow managed to never fly out of Midway. Despite its lack of Starbucks, is it nicer than flying out of O'Hare?

You and Mark have arrived in Orlando! I so wish that there was a bigger airport near our hometown so we could fly. As it is, we'd have to drive 2 1/2 hours to get to the airport and airfare would still be lots more than driving.

Not a bad start so far! A few slow-downs isn't so bad! Did you see that they are closing the Wetzel's Pretzels in DTD and turning it into a Starbucks? I'm a Dunkin Donuts girl, myself, but the whole Starbucks thing gets me excited for you!

I don't really like Midway either. I feel like I always fly into there when I go to Chicago. The security line is terrible there!!!!

I'm sorry I didn't get to responses or an update. I am trying to get caught up on everyone else's threads, I spent a good part of the day awaiting word on my brother's heart procedure (which never happened! he was supposed to get a pacemaker but they decided it would not help at all and that he really needs a heart transplant desperately).

The good news for the day is that Mark and I renewed our AP's today.

I promise responses and an update over the weekend.
