What Time is the 4 o'clock Rain? -- Updates 11/2-4 -- Tim's surprise and Marco&Recap

Love your photopass pictures...you two are too cute!

Glad you had such a nice lunch at Chefs de France! DH and I ate dinner there in May, and really loved it. Getting one of those nice window tables really makes the difference, doesn't it?

Hope you're having a great weekend!

Oh these photo's just show what a lovely couple you two are! :lovestruc

The Rapunzel ones of course are MY FAVORITE!

Yay dinosaurs! Universe of Energy is such a great one to go in if there's a lot of time and the weather is scorching!

The Finding Nemo ride is so cute!

I love the reactions you got from the couple you gave the fastpasses to! It's so sweet and you could tell how much they appreciated your kindness! :-)

Your lunch at Chefs de France looks amazing! The restaurant looks very nice! Your dessert is just mouthwatering! Oh my! I'm so glad you both had great meals there AND great service!

You two make me smile so much looking at your Photopass pictures! They are brilliant and you both look great! The Rapunzel ones are just priceless, too! :-)

Hope you had a splendid weekend!!

I can see that. I remember the first time we rode Universe of Energy with both kids...Markie was about 18 months old. He hadn't "gone" to the bathroom and he was cranky and we figured tired. So, knowing you can nap on this ride, we thought we'd try it. Well, we no sooner started moving in our "slow moving" cars and he decided it was time to fill his diaper. I was sure the entire place could smell it. The good news is that he did fall asleep. :lmao::lmao::lmao:
So he napped and everyone else in your vehicle passed out??? :confused3 :lmao::rotfl2:

I'm glad you enjoyed your meal at Chefs.

The PP pictures are great, but the ones with Mark and Rapunzel might just be the "best pictures ever!" :thumbsup2

Whew, caught up again. I was only 15 pages behind this time. :rotfl: Hopefully I'll be able to keep up. Well that is until I leave for my trip in 12 days. :cool1:

I've already forgotten most of what I wanted to say so just a few random comments.

Next time you head out to Rafiki's Planet Watch, you should try the Rainforest Booths. One of those hidden gems that everyone seems to miss.

What was that drink you had at AK? It looked really yummy.

I'm one that hasn't eaten at O'Hana and have no desire too. The food just doesn't appeal to me. I keep thinking I need to try it though since most people rave about it. But after reading your review I'm kind of glad I've never eaten there.

The Mini Golf looked like fun, I need to try that sometime.

Loved all of the PP pictures but the best one was Mark and Rapunzel. So funny!!

There's those Dinosaurs! Stupid Judy! :rotfl2: I'm not sure why I like this attraction so much.. it's not thrilling, it's not nostalgic per se, and it doesn't even move fast. :confused3 Maybe Ellen just makes it entertaining.

I love Ellena and that is reason enough for me to go.

Ahhhh lunch at Chefs de France. I love that place. We usually sit by those windows in the front too. Great tables for two. This was the first time we had to miss eating here since we first started coming to WDW. It was for a good reason but I haven't made it that far in my TR. :) Glad you two liked it. I always order that soup and the crème brulee. Nice couples pose. It looks like you are trying to keep Mark under control by holding his arm!! :lmao:

Well, since I know where you and Em went for lunch, I will be curious to see if you regretted not going to Chefs.

I know which Dismeet is which!! :scratchin

Of course you do. ;)

Oooh, Ms. Kat. So sorry to hear about the kids not going next year. I know how excited you were about them coming.

But! As you said, it's all for very good reasons, and before you know it, you'll have the sounds of pitter pattering feet to chase after!! :goodvibes
I can't wait to get the amazing news you are going to be GRANDPARENTS!! <said in my best Coral voice>

They really made the right decision. They have so much going on with fixing up the house (remodeling basement, redoing kitchen, second bedroom, floors, etc.) and the new puppy, they really need to save their money (although I planned on paying for 95% of their trip anyway).

Mark looks so cute looking over the balcony with his Mickey hat on. :goodvibes

I don't think in 30+ years (counting the six months we lived together) that I have ever seen that man crabby in the morning. Me on the other hand...let's just say he knows NOT to bother me until I've got my coffee in hand.

Have an amazing weekend, and let us know how it goes. We want pictures of the grand-puppy and kids! :thumbsup2

We had a great weekend with the kids and Rolo and the kitties. I'll try to remember to put a couple of pics up before I do my next update.

Beautiful pictures of France!

Thanks, MEK.

Love that you were seated first. I had the exact same lunch and I thought I would die from being so full. That soup and sandwich were SO delicious. What a yummy lunch.

Isn't it? I just love it there and don't even want to venture out and try anything new because I enjoy it so much.

Pretty view from your table.

It was and it was not raining (well, at least at that point) so we had a very clear view.

Oh yeah - Stupid Judy! :rotfl:

Love Stupid Judy! :lmao::lmao:

Subbing along!

I've loved hearing about your trip so far and seeing all of the wonderful pictures you've shared! You two are absolutely adorable and every picture of the two of you smiling or being silly together brings a smile to my face! How lucky you are to have each other!!!
:lovestruc
Okay, that was a whole lot of exclamation points, but I just thought you should know that your report is bringing a little bit of sunshine to a lot of people out here in DISworld!

:goodvibes

:welcome::welcome: You are very kind with your words...thank you very, very much. :flower3: Like any married couple, we have our fair share of problems. But when we are at Disney, we forget (or try to for the most part) everything but that exact moment.

I'm still catching up, but I have to say that we had the same Rapunzel during our April trip and she was great! And how the heck did Aurora not know that the front of her dress was flipped up in a weird way?

:wave2::welcome:; thank you so much for joining. As we've never done the Princesses before, I wasn't sure what to expect. But Rapunzel was absolutely terrific. I'm glad you got to experience her too. Now that you mention Aurora's dress, I remember as we moved on and I went to pick up my bag, I saw the CM fussing with her dress.

What wonderful Photopass Anniversary pictures

Thank you, Ruthie. :flower3:

Love those PP pix !!!!

Thanks, Rosie; I was very happy with them. :goodvibes

Great photopass pics, Kathy! I thought about picking out favourites, but I can't, they are ALL great!
Thanks for sharing. :goodvibes

Karin, I'm glad you enjoyed them. I have a hard time picking a favorite too, but Rapunzel is certainly very near the top if NOT the top.

WOw - your PP pictures turned out GREAT! So many cute shots of the two of you!

I'm doing a PP share this trip. I guess I am really going to have to try to get some cute shots like those.

I really like your outfit in the very first pic. Looks great on you!

Have a great weekend!

Thanks, Mary Ellen. I'm not doing a share because with everything linked with your MB I'm afraid it won't work. I did, however, order the Photopass+ for our December trip and I will just end Mary and the girls the CD when I'm done with it.

I'm glad you liked that outfit. That's my favorite little skort.

Love your pictures! Mark and Rapunzel making funny faces is my fav pic of all time...so cool!!

Thanks; those two had a blast together and were so excited to do that.

Once again Kathy, love the pics; Doing the "30"with your hands in front of the Tower of Terror was neat. And the picture of Mark with Rapunzel making funny faces almost caused me to spit out my Cheerios and Almond Milk laughing (yes I live a boring life). :lmao:

I thought that was kind of cool when our photopass guy suggested we do the "30" and it turned out pretty darn good. I had a hard time not laughing at Mark and Rapunzel when they were taking the picture. I'm glad you enjoyed.

LOVE all your photopass pics! sweet Mark let you go meet the princesses! looks like her did enjoy himself, especially with Rapunzel :goodvibes

Sweet Mark granted my wish to see the Princesses. :rotfl2: And I think he was glad he agreed after the fun he had with Rapunzel.

lunch looks yummy, we have dinner adr's and can't wait to eat there again! nice view from your table window seat!

We've never done dinner at Chefs, but we really enjoy lunch. In fact, Mark has already told me he wants me to book it for next August/September.

we love doing the ellen ride too, nice way to take a break!

It is a good break, and Ellen cracks me up.

have a wonderful weekend with the kids, safe travels :goodvibes

Thanks...we had a great visit with the kids and we get to go back in five weeks for the first college wrestling tournament that Mark will be coaching at. :)

Catching up and want to post before I lose track of my thoughts.
Ia gree with you about O'hana. It was not a winner for use either. I didn't like the sauces on the meats. I think if they came without sauce I would be happier. They just had funky tastes to us. I don't know if we'll ever go back again for dinner.

I didn't even notice the sauces...perhaps because most of it seemed so dried out? :confused3

Looks like a fun mini gold night. We have not done it at Disney. We just never have enough time it seems. But I think we would be one of the slow groups because we are terrible! :rotfl:

Mark and I just can't do the parks 12 hours a day like we used to and mini golf is something we both enjoy. Trust me, I'm still not very good at it myself.

I love all of your photopass pictures...

Thanks, D.

First - I love that black and white skirt you were wearing the first day - I think I commented on it before - but it's adorable and very cute on you!

Thanks; I love skorts and this one in particular is very comfy.

ROFL.... I just LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that photo of Mark with Rapunzel - that is the BEST!!!
I was so happy that one in particular turned out. :)

You two are just so cute in all of your pictures! Thanks so much for sharing! :)

D~

Thank you. :flower3:

Lunch looks great. We have yet to try Le Chefs yet. I think we would like it though.

Jen, you need to go next time...it really is very good (and very good looking French waiters too!).

fun photopass pictures!!!!

Thank you.

Who's cuter than the two of you.....NO ONE!!:goodvibes Great photopass pics....love them all!

Queen, thank you...you are very kind (but I am sure there are cuter out there somewhere!).

Luv Luv you'r photopass pictures. You guy's look so cute!!

:welcome: and thank you; I'm so glad you enjoyed them.

SAAWWWEEEEEET pics Kathy! :lovestruc I always enjoy your lovey smooch pics. The DHS one with the frame is cool! Keep them coming my friend!!!

Thank you; I don't see a lot of smooch pictures; I'll see an occasional one in TR; I'm not sure why we keep getting told to do that. :rotfl::rotfl:

My DD7 wants a pic with Rapunzel like Mark had, she is crossing her eyes as we speak :rotfl:

I hope she gets one; we really had a lot of fun with Rapunzel.

I was really on the ball when you started this, but have fallen way behind! Thank you for chapter links so I can go catch up!

No worries, Sheree, we all get behind; your back so that is good...it means I'm not boring you to death. :rotfl:

Caught up! You had a couple of yummy looking meals and some great PP pics!! It sure looks like you had a lot of fun!

We really had some good meals (and some bad meals) and we truly had a lot of fun.

Your photos from Epcot are really lovely! It looks like it was a beautiful day. Les Chefs looks so yummy - I really hope to try it on one of my next trips! You got a ton of great photopass shots too, I can't even pick a favourite. You look so happy and like you are having lots of fun, which is what it should all be about!

It was a great morning/earlya fternoon. We love Les Chefs and you really ought to give it a try (our son swears by their Lobster soup as well as their mac & cheese). We did have a lot of fun and we laughed a lot on this trip.

What a great bunch of photopass pictures! And love your Epcot update. I like that Universe of Energy ride too...relaxing. And we are doing Chefs for the first time this year. Can't wait to try that onion soup, my fav.

Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed the photos. I think you will really life Chefs. French Onion soup is a tie for me with New England Clam Chowder, but I really love the French Onion soup at Chefs.

Let me try and remember everything.

I love Ellen and Universe of Energy but my grandson said I embarrassed him last trip with my snoring. :lmao: What can I say I fall asleep in there as soon as we leave the dinosaurs every time.

I enjoy the ride and love Ellen, but I have been known to fall asleep in there myself (just like COP and HOP).

Nemo is a favorite but I love the pavilion. Soarin' - I think I am the only person who dislikes that attraction. I have been on it twice because the people I was with wanted to do it. There will not be a third time. I can handle Mission Space Orange over Soarin'.

I think you are the first person I have heard say they don't like Soarin'. It certainly not a favorite, but I do enjoy it. Mission: hated it!

Your meal in France looked wonderful but sadly I will never eat there. I'm lucky my DH lets me even stop for pics there. He doesn't like France.

Tell DH to go eat somewhere else while you dine with hot french waiters. ;)

The photopass pics were great. I love the Princesses. We had our granddaughters with us last year and the interaction with them there was so much fun. Belle and my younger granddaughter had twirling contests to see whose dress twirled better. They even got my moody teenage grandson in the pics.

That is so sweet about your granddaughter and Belle. I love when the characters do things like that with the kids.

Congrats on your son deciding to "work" on giving you a grandchild. I have number 7 due in January and there is nothing better.

Congrats on #7. :thumbsup2

Loved all the photopass pix! I didn't know they did a Stitch one at AK. I thought it was only at DHS. :confused3
You Epcot afternoon looked wonderful. So awesome of you to lend some pixie dust to a young couple. :goodvibes

Yes, we've had Stitch a couple of times at the AK (personally, I could do without him). We like sharing a little pixie dust when we can.

I love love your pictures. Stupid me I didn't think to do the magic stuff to my photo pass pics before I ordered my cd. I was so nervous I wasn't going to get it ordered by the deadline. Now looking at how great yours (and others , like d~) with the magic.. I'm bummed out.
I love the stitch one too.

You know you can't add the magic stuff to your photos...they do that in the parks? Or do you mean the borders? I had fun with the borders, but there seemed to be a few less this trip. I can't wait to see what they have this Christmas.

The one of you two and happy anniversary in so cute!

Thank you. :cloud9:

Great updates!

Thanks, Linda.

Can't wait to try Chefs for the first time for lunch in December - hope we get to see Remy :)

I hope you love it as much as we do, and I hope Remy stops by to say hello.

Your PP pics are fab. I love the one where you are making a 30 with your fingers :)

Oh and the funny face ones with Rapunzel are great!

Thanks; I really like the way the "30" one turned out.

The food looks delicious!

It really was yummy.

Props to Mark for being a good sport. You got some good pictures to look back on.

I always tell my husband he should have been a comedian or a vet in life. He has no issue getting into it with the characters. I don't think you read my TR two years ago when we met the Evil Stepsisters...it was a hoot!

I was a wee bit behind, so thanks for the links to help me get caught up.

You are welcome.

Hope your visit with the kids (and puppy) was great!

It really was; Rolo is adorable and a very loving dog who loves to kiss!

We were pretty underwhelmed by our dinner at 'Ohana a few years ago. Some of it was service, some of it was that the meat was a bit on the dry side, but the main issue was we scheduled it on the last night of a commando trip and we were all EXHAUSTED. And way too full to enjoy much of the amazing bread pudding.

I was disappointed; I was told if you went later is when the meat starts to taste dried up, but we were there for a 6:00 or something close to it. I know being exhausted you aren't going to enjoy any meal.

Ben really wants to go back, but we are in no rush.

Me neither.

Sounds like a short, but sweet visit with Solana131, her son and cousin. :goodvibes

It was short; but we would run into them again a couple of times.

What a great idea to go mini-golfing to work off some of your meal! We haven't done this at Disney, but that is really the cutest course! Thanks for sharing the pictures and signage. I love the hole where you have to shoot over Santa's belly!

We had fun; it was hot, but we kept hydrated walking the holes. They were all fun holes and a few even made noises (plus we could hear the frogs in the lagoon going nuts.

What a Soarin' Seat Score for you two!!!

I have found that if you ask they will usually try to accomodate you.

Really good picture of the dinosaurs on UoE and at the Living Seas.

Thanks; it is so hard to take pictures when it is that dark.

That was really nice of you to give away your FPs to Soarin'. I love when you find nice people to share some pixie dust.

We've gotten our share of pixie dust and I love returning the favor. And I have to tell you I was a little leary after my June trip with the girls and how unappreciative the people were that we gave them to, but this couple were thrilled.

Wow, the food looks AMAZING at Les Chefs!!! We have never been.

You must go!

Cute picture of Remy and even cuter picture of you two.

Thank you.

Love the photopass pictures so far, especially the ones with Beast, the 30 with your hands and of course, Rapunzel, Mark and the funny faces!

Thank you; I love Mark and Rapunzel...it is going on my desk at work.

Great photopass pics!!!! Love the one with Mark and Rapunzel amd of course the one of you guys and Stitch! :lmao::lmao:

You had to put Stitch in there, didn't you timmy? :lmao::lmao::lmao:

Whew! All caught up. Such fun on a Sunday morning to catch up with your adventures!

Thank you.

Let's see....

Continuing my theme of needing to explore AK more, I have never been out to Rafiki's Planet Watch Station whatever it is. Maybe this trip.

Rafiki's is nice every couple of years; you really ought to take a ride out there.

I have heard that Bamboo ("Mr. Devine") is no longer appearing. I have to say, his costume looked pretty weird. There is speculation that it was a test of some sort for the upcoming Avatar area. Supposedly the characters from that are super tall and people are guessing this was a test to see how guests interacted with a character on stilts. Who knows. :confused3

Very interesting. Then why would you keep Ms Devine? They brought her out long before there was any talk of Avatar, didn't they?

Have never tried O'Hana but do enjoy that bar. I could be wrong but I think they may sell that glass now in the resort store. Although it is probably $$$. It is very cute!

Well, I now know that I will be making a trip to the Poly store to see if I can find it.

It is probably just me but I have always been annoyed at the "gate" for Epcot. I just don't like the sign. It doesn't look "right" to me. Maybe it's the font or something. Not sure but it bugs me everytime I see it.

I'm not a big fan of it either...to me it's the coloring. :confused3

Love, love, LOVE that lunch at Chefs. So delicious. Cannot wait to have it in just about two weeks! :yay:

Oooh...I hope you enjoy your lunch there in two weeks! Take lots of pictures.

Your photopass pictures all turned out so well. Adorable!!!

Thank you very much.

Love your photopass pictures...you two are too cute!

Thanks, Nory.

Glad you had such a nice lunch at Chefs de France! DH and I ate dinner there in May, and really loved it. Getting one of those nice window tables really makes the difference, doesn't it?

I wonder if we should try dinner? I'll have to look at the menu for dinner. I'm glad you and DH liked it. That seat makes it all the more special.

Hope you're having a great weekend!

We had a great weekend; hope you did as well with Baby Simba.

Oh these photo's just show what a lovely couple you two are! :lovestruc

Thanks, Mo.

The Rapunzel ones of course are MY FAVORITE!

Isn't that picture great?

Yay dinosaurs! Universe of Energy is such a great one to go in if there's a lot of time and the weather is scorching!

I think they could shorten it a tad, but it is a good one for when it is scorching like you said.

The Finding Nemo ride is so cute!

Yes it is; I hope your daughter enjoyed it.

I love the reactions you got from the couple you gave the fastpasses to! It's so sweet and you could tell how much they appreciated your kindness! :-)

They genuiely were grateful (and I think a little surprised too).

Your lunch at Chefs de France looks amazing! The restaurant looks very nice! Your dessert is just mouthwatering! Oh my! I'm so glad you both had great meals there AND great service!

Thanks; you guys should try it on your next visit.

You two make me smile so much looking at your Photopass pictures! They are brilliant and you both look great! The Rapunzel ones are just priceless, too! :-)

They are so fun to have and look back on; thank you.

Hope you had a splendid weekend!!

We did, thanks; I hope you had a good one too (I saw you updated your TR!).

So he napped and everyone else in your vehicle passed out??? :confused3 :lmao::rotfl2:

That about sums it up. :lmao::lmao::lmao:

I'm glad you enjoyed your meal at Chefs.

We really did; and being we've enjoyed it twice in a row, it stays on "the" list as Mark says.

The PP pictures are great, but the ones with Mark and Rapunzel might just be the "best pictures ever!" :thumbsup2

Thanks, Andy. It really was a fun meet and greet with Rapunzel and everyone seems to agree about that photo.

Whew, caught up again. I was only 15 pages behind this time. :rotfl: Hopefully I'll be able to keep up. Well that is until I leave for my trip in 12 days. :cool1:

I can't believe how fast your trip is coming up.

I've already forgotten most of what I wanted to say so just a few random comments.

No worries.

Next time you head out to Rafiki's Planet Watch, you should try the Rainforest Booths. One of those hidden gems that everyone seems to miss.

Where are those located?

What was that drink you had at AK? It looked really yummy.

It was a pina colada with a special name (I think it was Raspberry in the drink); you have to be careful as they sneak up on you fast...especially when it's 110 in the shade.

I'm one that hasn't eaten at O'Hana and have no desire too. The food just doesn't appeal to me. I keep thinking I need to try it though since most people rave about it. But after reading your review I'm kind of glad I've never eaten there.

I'm glad I settled that for you. :)

The Mini Golf looked like fun, I need to try that sometime.

It is a lot of fun and a good way to take a couple of hours off from the parks.

Loved all of the PP pictures but the best one was Mark and Rapunzel. So funny!!

Thank you; it really was funny during the whole interaction.

Been following along (we were there at the same time!) and just wanted to say that you guys are so cute! I'm loving all your photo pass photos. It's so nice to see couples who have been married so long still having such a nice, goofy time with each other and still enjoying each other's company!

Been following along (we were there at the same time!) and just wanted to say that you guys are so cute! I'm loving all your photo pass photos. It's so nice to see couples who have been married so long still having such a nice, goofy time with each other and still enjoying each other's company!

Thank you so much. :goodvibes

As I said earlier, we've had our ups and downs as any married couple does, but I am proud that we have made it to 30 years and am looking forward to many, many more with my Mark.

I'm going to head over to your TR since we were there at the same time. :goodvibes

Great job making the trip extra special for the newlywed couple. And the meal at Chefs looks really good!

As always, the Photopass pictures are terrific, but the Rapunzel pictures are the standout! :rotfl2::rotfl2: How are you going to top them?

So we had finished up yet another wonderful lunch at Les Chefs de France and we decided to proceed with our tours of the country. We weren't stopping at every one this go round as we had been texting back and forth with Brenda and knew that her and Em were having lunch in Mexico and we wanted to say hello again.

Some photos as we walked:

We were then in America where we saw the start of The Spirit of America Fife and Drum Corps and we stopped to listen:

After we finished watching the Spirit of America Fife & Drum Corps we proceeded on to Mexico where we would eventually be seeing Brenda and Em. We still had time as I believe Brenda and Em were finishing up their ride on Text Track if I'm not mistaken.

We visited the Marketplace:

Soon Brenda and Emily arrived for their ADR, which I believe they were late for and the CM didn't seem to pleased about (seriously, there were several tables empty so I'm not sure what the big deal was).

We had a short little visit and another photo op (ignore me...Mark got a little too close in this photo and I look drunk!):

We let Brenda and Em go get seated and we decided to take a boat ride to visit Donald. As we were going past the tables in San Angel, we saw Brenda and Emily being taken to their table and they were right by the water. Well, of course, my husband had to shout out to them so they would wave to us.

Some boat ride pictures:

Poor Donald:

We finished up our boat ride, and Mark wanted to head back to America so we could see Voices of Liberty.

Along the way, we stopped in Norway to visit the trolls.

Continued in next post

We stopped in Norway:

And went to ride:

We sat and finished the movie which was about half way over and then stopped in the dump shop. I let Mark play for a bit:

We stopped in Germany where Mark wanted to see if they had the Apple Wine this time so he could try it.

They didn't have it available to buy the small sample size, so he got something else. And I have no clue what it was, but he seemed to like it.

We tried on a hat:

Of course, we had to stop to see the train...doesn't every little boy?

A quick stop in Italy:

And the 4 o'clock rain came a little earlier today

Up next, Voices of Liberty, a snack and a DIS meet.

Great job making the trip extra special for the newlywed couple. And the meal at Chefs looks really good!

They were really cute too; and that meal was very good (but I don't think burgers are on the menu ;))

As always, the Photopass pictures are terrific, but the Rapunzel pictures are the standout! :rotfl2::rotfl2: How are you going to top them?

I think the only way I can possibly top that picture is if I get one of me kissing Stitch. :stitch::stitch::stitch:

Loved the updates!!
Yay for some DisMeets!
Every little boy (and big ones, too) must stop in to check out the trains. I love the different holidays when they decorate the villages for the seasons.

Mexico is so neat inside. It's amazing how dark they can keep it in there.

Mark's beer hat photo was :rotfl2:

Gonna say it again Loved those PP pix !!! I sure hope we get a pix with Rapunzel , I loved those silly pix with Mark and her !!! PP just doesn't work for the P & P trips as I have to do te Memory books right away and by the time I got the cd they are already mailed in ! Iwould like to do it in December , but I don't think the others are interested , only 2 of us both of whom are technically challenged !!:rotfl2:

And while I was posting, I spied another update !!! I love the beer mug hat , that is just sooooo Mark!! I promise I will have them do hat pix in his honor this month!! I even got Kyle and Judy doing them last time we went !! They have both given up on getting me to behave , although only Kyle will take pix of me pole dancing!!:rotfl2::rotfl2:
