It’s been too long since we cruised. We are doing 3 night wish this weekend, overall what time is luggage in room? Trying to plan where to pack dinner stuff.

We've had luggage as soon a we've boarded. And other times, not until after dinner.

If you're worried about dressing for dinner in the MDR, as long as you're not wearing swimsuits, you'll be fine.

Well we are planning set outfits for frozen restaurant and don’t know which night it is so we would have to pack 2 outfits for dinner in carry on. My kids wanted to dress up (Elsa Bruni and Olaf) . I requested to not be in that restaurant for pirate night.

You can’t get to the cabins until 2 so anytime after that.

I guess we have been lucky because our luggage always came even before the sail away.

Our experience (both on the Wish and on the others in the fleet) has been always before dinner. But actual arrival time has been anywhere between early (before we even were able to get to our cabin) to after 4. But generally I'd say about 3-ish.

Of course, that's just our experience. No guarantee you'll have the same timing.

On 2 of our previous cruises, the luggage was in the room by the time we were able to enter the room. For our Alaska cruise this past May, the luggage showed up piece meal, we had one piece by 2pm, another by 4pm and the 3rd, I had to have our room host go locate and we received it just before we went to dinner. The last item had the majority of our clothes in it for the trip so we were starting to get nervous, since the room host was positive that all the luggage was delivered already.

We usually have ours by 2:00/3:00 however once we did not get it until after the sail away party.

We travel with our kids in two rooms. Last time three of the bags were there when we went to our room. What we have found helps on Disney and other cruise lines if you have some of the bags delivered go searching where the bags are being brought up in the floor. We have found our additional bag near the elevator. It wasn’t “missing” it just wasn’t delivered yet. It was in the spot where the cabin stewards collect the bags for their cabins.

I'm a reformed over packer. My son and I spent three weeks in Europe including a 11 day cruise with two carry-ons and two back packs. My last two cruises out of Florida I've taken just carry-ons. It helps that DCL has laundry onboard.
