It's 6:15 A.M. The Temperature is -15 below with the wind chill at -29 degrees.

My car showed 14 degrees outside at 7:00 this morning, here in Philly. The local newspaper online shows 11 degrees at 7:46. Not a big difference. Also a little windy, it was very windy last night.

You've got us beat....we're at 5 degree's right now! :scared1: At least it's not snowing anymore, we had some huge snow squalls yesterday!

We did too, wic! I am so glad the :sunny: is out today.

It's 9:45a and 14 degrees with a wind chill of -5 :scared1: :cold:

I'm all dressed up in layers here at work, I have a window office...and the wind just blows right through the glass...my office is just as cold as it is outside! Nothing wakes you up quicker in the morning then having to pick up your phone and having the receiver give you a brain freeze!

It's 1:20p and 23 degrees, wind chill 8 wow a heat wave!

It's 10:55a and 34 degrees with heavy rain. We did get about 4-6 inches of snow before it turned to rain.

Wic, hope your basement is ok today!:goodvibes

It's 1:40p and 34 degrees with heavy rain:umbrella: Going to get out the row boat soon, drain at the end of the road backing up.

Hey Pooh, basement was not good! As a matter of fact, I had to call the fire dept for help! We had over 2' of water, the water level went from manageable to out of control in less than 20 minutes! Luckily my DD was home sick, and she asked me to stay home with her.....if she wasn't sick yesterday, I would have just dropped her off at my parents house and my husband and I wouldn't have gotten home until 6:00 last night, we would have lost everything, and probably would not have been able to stay in the house because it would have hit the circuit breaker! It took the fire dept, over 3 hours and 5 sump pumps to get the water to a manageable level for us!

WOW! Sorry your DD was sick, but as you said good thing she was. I think the people next door had the same problem. They didn't call the fire dept. but they were out there trying to keep the water away from the foundation. I think they even set the wood stove in the basement. They have one down there too.

It's 9:20a and 27 degrees, with sunshine:woohoo:

Yeah, when I told Kellie last night that I was glad she was sick, she looked at me like I had 3 heads! :rotfl2:

We lost our furnace pump, hot water pump, washing machine and dryer (brand new) the fan on the woodstove...for some reason the refridgerator didn't die though...which is a good thing, seeing that I loaded up the freezer over the weekend! My husband is a boiler operator, so he and a friend were able to replace the furnance and hot water pumps last night....and he dried and blew out the woodstove fan...so that was working again too! Buy I have a bad feeling about my washing machine and dryer!

It was big news too....I was outside with the fire dept and next thing I knew a photographer from the local paper was there and then a photographer from the Worcester Telegram was there taking pictures and asking me questions! :confused3

At 10:00 last night my husband and I finally said "ENOUGH" and went to bed! We had been sucking water up with the shop vac since 4:00 and he had the woodstove cranking, so it was like 95 degree's downstairs! Yesterday was definately a day from h*ll! :headache:

Yeah, we were definately lucky that he was able to fix a couple items!

He's got today off, so I'm sure he'll be cleaning up the basement until at least 2:00 today, that's when some Nascar race comes on and he'll be glued to the tv until it's done!

It's 12:13p and 31 degrees, wind chill 19. Sure glad the sun is out:thumbsup2

It's 7:30a and 30 degrees, now we have the warmer temps but no sun:confused3
