I had to laugh when I saw the post from Honolulu saying it was cold at 74! I'm guessing we won't see 74 for 5-6 more months now!

It's supposed to hit 50 today, but it's awfully cloudy outside, don't see how it's going to warm up!

No! I called on Tue and they said that they gave it to someone else. But like always they will keep my resume on file

I do have a job interview on Friday, guess where? At Lowe's we have a new one opening soon near me. I really don't want to do retail but I need to do something. I might take this just to start and still look for another job, but the money is running out and I don't want to go into the savings.

I have a friend that works at Home Depot and she loves it, so maybe Lowes will be the same type of place! As long as you aren't shy, you should be fine doing retail! I talk to people all day long, it's no big deal! Plus depending on what dept they put you in, it could end up being really fun!

What is your friends work schedule like? I don't want to work to late, would prefer(?sp) to work during the day and be home for supper. I know I might have to do weekends, also would rather not. I figure I will atleast for the winter, since we don't do much anyway.

I want to say that when she first started she worked Mon - Fri 7:00 to 4:00, but she recently had a baby, so she changed her hours. She started there when the store opened, which is why I think she had somewhat normal hours.
