It's 8:23a and 73 degrees, nice out so far today. When I got up it was 62 degrees!!

8:30 in the morning and 79 degrees. There is a chance of rain this afternoon. But for now, it's sunny skies.

It's 11:08a and 85 degrees, still not bad out. The humidity is lower then it has been so it's nice still out. We too might get some t-storms this afternoon. But for now it's mostly sunny!

Actually a lot cooler today. Still some chances of scattered showers.

2:32p and it's 90 degrees. Supposed to be even cooler going into the weekend.

1:37pm in Tucson and it's ONLY 98 degrees!:woohoo: It will still probably hit 100, but that's better than the 105+ degree days.

Yesterday evening, we hosted a cook-out for 15+ amazing dancers (two weeks of intensive dance in AZ and CA that our daughter is taking part in) and it was 103+ degrees all day. What was I thinking!?!?!?!:scared1:

I'm just not used yet to the different ways of doing things in this hot climate. Sometimes I get it backwards. I must remember: cook out in the summer in Maine, and cook out in the winter in Arizona! We did cook OUT, but we ate INSIDE!:)

Momrek06- I noticed your ticker and see that you're going back to MA next month. Have a good time and eat some seafood for me! I miss good seafood out here. My husband is going back in a few weeks for business. He'll be in Hartford, CT and Boston, MA. I'm tempted to go along, even though we were just back on the east coast in May.:rolleyes1

Yes indeedy, luv, we are headed back for 2 weeks. Going to be between ME, MA and CT!! Hoping, just hoping I get to see everyone I want when I go home. Ugh. Everyone keeps emailing me to fit them in ...

So we selected these dates as DS will be heading to the east for law school on August 15th and we will see his new digs.

THEN, get this, DH comes home from work on Friday to say his company wanted to send him to an engineering convention in Orlando, he could take his wife. All expenses paid for; all meals, hotel, BOTH WDW and US passes ... BUT it is for the exact same time we have our Boston trip ... :headache: :headache: :headache: :headache: :headache: I have not been to WDW since 2006 ... I would have LOVED to have gone.

5:49pm in San Diego. 68 degrees.

OMG! Kar that's just not fair!

It's a great day here in NH, low humidity today. Enjoy because the humidity is coming back tomorrow for the weekend.

It's 8:24a and 70 degrees!!

It's 8:59a and 73 degrees, the sun was out now it's cloudy.

Finally got some decent rain here. Supposed to get even more through the weekend. It's really helped it cool down. High today is supposed to be 85.

Right now at 9:36a, it's 72 degrees. :cloud9:

Interesting, Sue, I get this email from my Lexington, MA DSis and she is trying to set-up a Facebook account and she was asking me all this questions ... anyway, she proceeds to say that this has been the BEST SUMMER EVER in New England. Now you need to know she is one of those that absolutely LOVES IT HOT and HOTTER ... and has no issues with humidity.
I think she is all alone in her OPINION of the SUMMER of 2010 in New England.

8:39am 67 degrees in San Diego. Marine layer :headache:

Your husband's company needs to plan better! I know whenever my husband travels to the Orlando area (usually in January/February every year) I always go along. I LOVE spending time exploring the parks and shopping all by myself while he is working during the day. At night, it's fun to go out together. And, I know what you mean about trying to fit everyone into your plans when you go back to New England. We were there in May and we had every minute planned and every meal lined up with various friends and relatives. It's always hectic, but always nice to go back and see everyone!

Today in Tucson is only going to the high 90s!:woohoo: The whole next week is supposed to be a bit below average, which means temps in the 90s.:cool1:

OH that's just wrong. You can tell DH's company to send me and I will report back how the convention was. :lmao: Timing on that just, bleep bleep. No way to postpone Boston? I feel for you.

And luv, I would have had to do that as he would have been at the convention all day and I would LOVE that ... just wondering around WDW all alone, taking pictures, shopping, eating!!!! :goodvibes

Aww, Thumper, we did discuss this ... but we have too many plans back home with family and friends and of course our flights, we would probably have to pay some penalty to change them, you know. :headache:

Just its been soooo long since I have been to FLA ... and this would have been ALL FREE!!!!! :sad1:

I like warm but not really a fan of high humidiity, not unless I have central a/c. Which I don't! She must really hate today, it's been cloudy most of the day now well for awhile it's raining too.

The temp was 79/80 now with this rain it's down to 72 degrees. I feel a chill:confused3

They say it's going to be hot and humid this weekend she will love it.

And yes your right, she is about the only one that is loving this HOT and HUMID weather!

What a great weekend! Sat was hot and very humid, yesterday was a littler cooler and by the end the humidity was all most gone.

This morning is wonderful, sunny and very low humidity.

It's 9:30a and 74 degrees, very nice out today so far.

We finally got some much needed rain.:cool1: Saturday we got some scattered rain showers. Yesterday started out cloudy and stayed that way. About 2pm it started raining and continued all afternoon and evening. By the time I went to bed at 10pm, it was still coming down. We've really been needing that.

Chances for rain again today. Not quite as much as yesterday, but back to scattered showers. It's still cloudy outside, really nice and cool this morning. Currently 60 degrees at 8:17am.

YEAH, Sue, finally a nice weekend and looks like the week is starting out nicely! :woohoo:

Oh Thumper, my Mike called me yesterday and he said it has been raining for 3 days and all his clothes are soaked. He has been out in the back woods.
He left base camp on Thurs eve with 20 Boy Scouts from JAPAN! As the Ranger, he shows them off for 3 days and then the Boy Scouts trek the rest of the time (7 more days) alone with their leaders. Mike then hikes back to a random pick up location where other Rangers come by and pick him up to return to base camp and then Mike starts all over again. :goodvibes
