So typical of So CALI, just an hour since my last post and we are now at 68 degrees. It warms up quickly here. 11:15am

So my final awesome news is that my SON and his amazing GIRLFRIEND who both graduated Law School in May and took the Bar in July found out yesterday that they BOTH PASSED!!! And while they took the Bar in New York State, they scored so high on the exam that they can work in WASHDC (where they are now living) with NO additional testing required!!!

YAY RED SOX! Yes, we were cheering very loudly last night!

CONGRATULATIONS on your good news! You have every reason to be VERY proud of your son and his girlfriend!

And I love the Disneyland pics you posted!!

Where has everyone gone? I guess I shouldn't say much, I've been a bad poster here as well.

Weather here today is cold, very windy and chances of snow. Better chances for snow over the weekend. Got some rain down in the city, but the mountains are starting to get some snow.

DW took this picture of the Sandia Mountains (which are the closest ones to us) covered by low clouds and snow at the top.


Currently its 24 degrees at 8:50a. Wind chill making it feel like 12. Winter has definitely arrived in the Land of Enchantment.

Mike, be safe I am hearing on our LA news of all the storms headed your way. I hope it does not interfere with your holiday plans.

Thanks, Mike on the kiddos. Ya, they are so pumped with their bar results. Makes them feel like those intense 3 years were all worth it. Ya know.

Mike, that meal at the BT BBQ Ranch was sooooooo freakin' good. No we have not been back BUT I will tell you Brett spoke to some of the CM's a few days after we ate there and he told him that we ate there with our friends and that BT/BBQ had basically NO SHOW (like the one that was going on at 5:30pm when we were walking by). We told the CM's (there was two) that they did rally everyone up to sing Happy Birthday but that was it. They were really surprised that there was not more than that the evening we were there. Mike, we walk by there OFTEN both at Lunch and at Dinner and we ALWAYS see a big show going on............so what the heck happened when we were there? Hmm. BUT besides all that at least the food was FABULOUS. Yum.

SO my family is all coming from the East coast on Tuesday for a week in SoCALI and just in time as they are going to get hit with something on Wed. Oh no. Not good for those traveling (which is about everyone).


Today our weather is bright sun.

11:06am 65 degrees. High to hit only 70. But I will take it.

Storm has come and gone. In the city I work in, they got anywhere from 6-8 inches of snow. In the city I live in, we got maybe an inch. If that. Sun came out and it was all gone.

Today the sun is back out, but it's still cold. Supposed to warm up by the weekend and be higher than normal temps. Crazy weather.

3:25pm and it's 37 degrees.

You're still warmer there then we are here. The city I work in is covered with anywhere 4-8 inches of snow. It will be ice tomorrow.

The city I live in, no snow but it's cold.

6:25 pm and it's 21 degrees. Wind chill making it feel like 11.

Some cities to the north of our state are at 0 and 1 at the current moment.
