What time is it now and how's the weather in your neck of the woods, Part 3

Well the calm before the storm!

It's 11:12a and 21 degrees, the SUN is out!!

It's been lovely around here lately. Not as cold as it's been. Doesn't even feel like its winter. Going to be a little colder and windy this weekend, but still no moisture. Oh when, oh when will our drought end.

9:33 am and its currently 36. Should hit 50 as our high today, which is average for this time of year.

Well with the upcoming forecast... I had to laugh I read a report that Boston could get anywhere between 3 and 43 inches LOL. Long Island should get tagged. Pooh you should be in for it too. Poop.

We got almost 30 inches. North shore of Long Island was hit very hard. My street is still not plowed. Friday night I had to work. It took me 3 hours to go about 8 miles to find out that the road was closed. I sat there for another 3 hours hoping it would open. I then turned around and went back to work for 16 hours. Same uniform and all ewww. I was up for about 40 hours. My husband told me I couldn't come home because my Jeep wouldn't have been able to navigate the deep snow. Luckily the medical park next door was plowed so i finally got home. I had left my house at 3pm on Friday and didn't get home until 12:20 am on Sunday. It was just awful. Now they are calling for more snow this weekend... God help me.

:wave2: Here I am! And here is my pic of the day, taken earlier in my backyard...not in Maine...in Tucson!:crazy2:

Wow, what crazy weather! We DID NOT move here to see snow!:scared: This is the second time it has snowed here in less than two weeks. We actually live in Vail, which is about fifteen minutes outside of Tucson, and at an elevation of 3200 feet. We got about three inches of the white stuff, and yes, it is pretty, but we've seen enough snow to last a lifetime!

The sign says it all, though.:rotfl: Our house here in Tucson (Vail) has sold and we are packing and out of here this weekend. Our new house is being built in the Phoenix area. We are going to miss Tucson, though. In the four and a half years that we've been here we've grown to really like it. But, onward to our next adventure. If it snows in Phoenix, then we know it's following us across country, to Tucson, and on to Phoenix!:)

HAHAHA, great picture!!!

Wait ok, I need details. Soooo, you are off to PHX?? So you built another new house? I missed all the pictures, did you post any? Are you going to be further away from the grand babies? DH has been in Phx all week and flies back to CALI tomorrow.

We had 5 minutes of HAIL back two weeks ago and it was SHOCKING to us. :scared1:

We'll be closer to the grandkids!:woohoo: We'll only be about fifteen minutes from their house. And being in Phoenix, we'll be closer to our son in Vegas and our younger daughter in LA.

There is a thread here somewhere titled "Here we go, again!". No pics yet, though, as construction hasn't started. Hopefully, it won't be long!

Hey Pooh.... got your snow shovel? We're headed up your way next Sunday so I've been watching the weather. Good grief, they are calling for snow almost every day next week. Good luck. Kinda crummy here 37 and cloudy.

Anna, hope you made it up here ok yesterday!

Since the blizzard everything has, for the most part, been rain events. I can see portions of my front lawn. How much snow do you have on the ground? We are headed up on Sunday. We will have to dig out at the end of our driveway... just not sure which ferry to take. We will need enough daylight to dig out. Thank heavens for my Jeep we can 4 wheel the rest of the driveway to the trailer.
