What time is boarding actually occurring?

We are on the 9/6 cruise. Our PAT was originally 1:00pm, which DCL then moved to 11:00am. I'd already booked a car service getting us there at 1:00. We are both vaccinated so there's no need for us to go through testing and wait for results.

I'm wondering if we should stick with getting to the port around 1:00pm, or maybe move it up to noon? I don't want to get there at 11:00, and then wait a couple hours before we can board and get lunch. If boarding starts by noon, then we will move our arrival up to 11:00.

It just depends. When we boarded on the 20th, we had a PAT of 1:00. We were sitting in the terminal waiting to board by 1:15. We didn’t get on the ship until after 2:00. There was a computer issue, I think that delayed boarding.
