We are going to WDW the day we get off the Wonder (from a 4 day cruise) and are going to use a towncar service for our transportation back to OKW. We have late seating but may also not opt to go to breakfast in the dining room that day. I would like to make the most of my day in the park - what time do I ask them to pick us up?

TIA

I would say 9 am. or earlier. We had late seating, went to breakfast at 8 a.m. and was off the ship by 8:45 - 9 a.m. Breakfast was at Parrot Cay and was fast. We took our day bags with us as they won't let you in the rooms after 8 a.m. I know some people were off the ship by 7:30 or so. You can go after the all clear to disenbark. Going through Customs was super easy and we had the help with a Porter. We then boarded the Disney transfer van back to WDW and was there by 10:15 or so. Have fun!!!

Thanks MariiaTia2 - we have been on the Magic 4 times but we usually rent a vehicle and head back to Michigan but this time I am taking a friend for her retirement and we are going to the parks before our return and I don't want to mess with a rental.

Hi Gail! We had town car service in July 2003 and headed to WDW when we got off the Wonder. Our driver told us he would be there at 8:30. Since we were ready to get off the ship by 7:30, we sat on deck 4 watching the loading of supplies. We were at Wilderness Lodge before 10am and in MK by 11am. Jan

Reading an old navigator, it said everyone off the ship by 8:45. We're having the towncar pick us up at 9.

Last January, we did the 4-night and were picked up at 8am. We had the early seating though. We were checked into our hotel and at DTD by 10am.

This January, my nephew and I are doing the 7-night and have late dinner seating. We're still planning on being picked up at 8am because, like you, we want to make the most of our day in the park. We're going to go eat at the buffet instead, so we can still get out early.

HTH,
