What time for lunch reservation before 2pm holiday tour?

I'm making a lunch reservation at Carnation Cafe prior to our 2pm Holiday Time tour on 1/5. How long does it typically take to eat there? Do you think a 12:20 reservation would work or should I reserve an earlier dining time? Thanks!

Are there more than 4 people in your party? As in, will it require 2 tables to be put together? Are you willing at accept a table inside, or are you going to ask to be seated outside? What time are you planning to check in for a 12:20 ADR? I'd pad it with 15-20 minutes to be seated, then another 20-30 for your food. The last thing you want to do is to be rushing to eat if something takes a little longer than ideal or be rushing to check in for your tour 15 minutes before it starts. I'd probably do noon, hoping that everything would take an hour and 15 minutes, but leaving an extra buffer, just in case.

Thanks for your quick reply! There are 3 adults in our party. I think I will move it a little earlier just to be safe. I've never eaten there so I didn't know what to expect. Is it preferred to be seated outside?

It depends on the weather whether inside or out is better. I usually choose first available. 12:20 for 3 would work, but making your reservation a little earlier will give you more time to enjoy your meal without feeling like you have to rush through it. I went on the tour on 11/30, and really enjoyed it.

I would say the earlier the better cos you also get snacks and drink on the holiday tour so need to leave room for those

Personally I would go for 12 or earlier to be relaxed and not worry about being rushed. 12:20 ADR does not necessarily mean you will be seated rights at 12:20
