What TIME do you go "home?" (hotel) after a day in WDW???

What time do you go back to the hotel and call it a night from a day
of park touring, dinner, etc.???

and....

What time to do get up and go out in the morning??

Last month, 8/13-21, we were usually back in our room around 8-8:30. After the heat/humidity we were beat. Usually up and out by 8 a.m. We are by nature early risers and early to bedders.

We always closed down the parks at night. However, we'd go back to our room after lunch, and hang around the pool til about 5:00-6:00. Usually the parks close around 9:00 when we're there, so we're back by 10:00-10:30.

We would switch it up- a couple nights we stayed until after fireworks/shows/ect...OR we would leave in early afternoon, go back to the hotel and rest, and go out shopping at DTD...OR we would stay until early evening and head back for a shower and go to Pleasure Island!

Usually we leave the parks for dinner around 6:30 or 7. After dinner we might spend a short time checking out a resort, but then it's back to the room. I'd say we're "in for the night" around 8:30-9:00. DW watches tv for a while, but I conk out pretty quickly At home I'm typically in bed by 9(I'm up at 3:30am).

We are off season commando tourists.... Generally we are at the parks at opening and go, go, go until about 6pm. Then we hit the pools and rest until we begin again.

I'm usually up and out of the room by 7 at thelatest and pretty much close down everything at night. I always need a rest from vacation.

We usually get to the room around 11pm/12am and leave in the morning around 9 am. We usually come back to the room for a break in the afternoon, though. -Steph

Usually around 10:00 - 11:00. Unless it's an enight in which case all bets are off

We usually are out about 8:30am - take an afternoon break then not back until about 10pm.

I am usually the first one up showed, dressed and chomping at the bit just looking at my family sound asleep waiting for them to get up. After all they tell me "We are on vacation!" If we are on vacation anywhere else(is there anywhere else to vacation?) I sleep in as much as I can!

We are back in our rooms when ever the last fireworks are over.

I generally am out of the room around 8:15-8:30 and don't get in for the night until midnight-1am.

With the kids we are in the room and in bed by 10:00-11:00(occasionally an earlier night) and we are usually up ready and out the door by 7:00-8:00.
If we were without the kids it would be much later at night and probably a little later in the mornings too.

We leave at about 8 am and we stay out till about 1:30 am. We're just two adults, so we can do that!

we are 2 "older adults " and were in the room by 10 each night usually ( except if we stayed for illuminations) but out by 7- 7:30 as we went to ee ( try to be there close to 1/4-1/2 hr before opening

i was astonished at how many were leaving ( often with little kids) the resort for the west side or pi i guess when we got off the bus at 10 or so...do they never sleep ? or maybe don't go to the parks till afternoon...

We are always up early, around 7am. Eat bf and try to catch the first buses. Then we return around 10 pm. It all depends on what time the parks close. There usually isn't much "relaxing" going on. Maybe one day. But who can spare it when there's so much to do in the parks.

Usually get up around 6:30. Eat breakfast @ our hotel except for the one day we have a PS @ a character breakfast. The evenings are a little tricker...depends on our plans. At least 2 nights we will be out very late as we have plans for DQ and Epcot at night. Other than that probably about 9ish.

When we were there in April we would be up early usually left the room by 7 am. Other than the first night when we ate at Boma, we were back by 7:30 or 8. We didn't see any of the fireworks. The problem was that we would finish dinner by 7 and not want to wait 2 hours for the shows to start, because we had done all we wanted to do. The awful truth is we found out we really aren't Disney people.


We were thinking of taking the family in 2005, we'd all gone in 2003, and on the second day we both looked at each other and said "I can't do this again next year." Not that we won't go again, but I guess 3 times in 4 years was too much. Just DH and I had gone in 2001. We are doing one day to see the Christmas decorations, but DH is doing that for me, cause he doesn't care about seeing decorations. He is just a real sweetie, he's even agreed to staying on site.

It depends in what we have planned. If we are making it a late night and seening fireworks then we will go after dinner and get back to the room after that. We seem to be late risers since the Poly has very room darkening curtains. We generally don't even get up until after 9am. We then take out time getting to the parks and then stay for about 4-5 hours and then go eat dinner and back to the room. If it is going to be a fireworks night then we hang by the pool all day, have dinner, and then go to the parks. After spending so much time at the parks for the past 3 years we find we are at the resort enjoying the pool more then the parks now.

By noon dh is back in the room. DD & I will stay till around 2-3, then we like to swim until around 5, get dressed and go out for dinner by 6. Back to the room.

We're early risers. At the parks by opening.

Since we go during the slow time, we rarely have very long to wait in lines.

P.S. When Specto is on, dd & I will go back for it & the fireworks.
