What time do the parks "really" open on EE days?

We are going in Oct. Magic Kingdom is scheduled to open at 9:00 am . On the Early Entry day then, I suppose it will open to resort guests at 8:00. I seem to recall that i read somewhere it actually opens at 7:30 am. Help???

In the old incarnation of Early Entry days, the 7:30 time was sometimes true. In the current incarnation as Extra Magic Hour, the park opens one hour prior to scheduled opening, not before.
