What is my cheapest option for tickets in this scenario.

My mom qualifies for a 5 day Military Salute ticket, but we will need park tickets for 7 days. Can she get two days with the regular military discount, my Florida discount, or my AP and which is the cheapest?

I tried. It’s incredibly complicated and the website was down when I posted this. I was hoping someone with experience could help a girl out instead of writing obvious flippant responses.

1. Yes.
2. Since you say "your" Florida discount, I'm assuming that SHE is not a FL resident, so she can't use a FL resident ticket.
3. There is no AP discount for buying "regular" tickets.

So, if my above assumptions are correct, her only option of your 3 is to buy a 2-day ticket with a military discount.

Another way to go is for her to buy TWO of the 5-day Military Salute tickets, and just use 2 days of the 2nd
ticket to complete THIS trip, then use the rest of those remaining 3 days on a future trip.

I believe the only way she can get a Florida discount is if she has her own Florida ID, she can't use your Florida discount. As far as a discount using your AP, there is no discount to purchase tickets for others as far as I know.

Robo has good info. The military 2 day ( not Armed Forces) costs more than the Armed Forces Salute. On Steve's site he lists the regular military 2-day tickets at $284.65. AFS 5 day for 2018 is $246.00 and 2019 is $257.00

It looks as if I get the military salute 5-day for $257 then have her buy a 2 day regular pass for $209 it’s cheaper than getting a regular military 2 day discount? Or is there no such thing as a regular military discount, just the salute? And I can only buy the regular military discount tickets at the park or via the military hotel on-site, correct?

It is rare to find any discounts on one-day and two-day tickets.

The military discount on regular tickets is very small. Plus add tax if you buy at WDW guest services. Is the $209 you posted for the 3-day FL discount? Tax on that brings it to $222.59 and unless your Mom is a FL resident she can't buy them. The regular 2 day ...the price is $222.59., park hopper $291. with tax.

ETA: You mentioned you buying military discounted tickets, you cannot if you are not eligible. The tickets can be purchased on base, at Shades of Green or Guest services. No tax if purchased on base or SOG.
