What sparked your latest urge to go to WDW?

Breathing.

OK, if you wanted a different answer, although breathing is enough to spark my urge to go to WDW....

Being at WDW. That always sparks the plans for the next visit.

Or, if you want one more spark, waking up and finding any day that ends in a Y, after all it is M-I-C see you real soon! - K-E-Y why? because we love you! :goodvibes

I'm always ready for a Disney trip. But the reason we're heading down this March is to celebrate the adoption of 2 children into our family (ages 6 & 8). We knew we wanted to go somewhere to celebrate and decided to leave the "where" to the new children. Coming from the state foster care system they hadn't had the opportunity to travel and didn't really know where they wanted to go. So we gave them some choices and since we'd just been to WDW 6 months prior to the first one's placement with us, our other 2 kids were VERY encouraging for them to choose there. It didn't hurt my feelings any to have to plan another trip back.

We're going for 2 weeks this time since we had 2 weeks of timeshare condo time expiring at the end of April. This will give us a more relaxing time and time for the new kids to get a good feel for the place we all love to go to so much! :flower:

Barb - That is the most wonderful thing I have heard in a long time. Please accpet my Pixie Dust wishes on a happy and healthy life to you and your growing family. The "World" and the world need more people like you.

Enjoy your trip.

Blessings to you.

It was my DS's first trip this past April 2005(he was 4 1/2 at the time) We waited for him to be out the baby stage. It was wonderful. Also I was very proud of his excellent behavior. So now we want to go again next year. He is in PRE-K and his last day is May 24th. So I want to leave that evening for about a 6 day trip. I want to take advantage of his school ending in May because when he hits elelmentary school they don't get out until 2nd week of June. We want to take small trip is we can. If we don't get to go in May 2006. We have to wait until Thanksgiving 2007

Thank you, Dina!

We talked about a family trip for the summer way back in march. Dh wanted DC and I wanted Disney. My reasoning is that this would be the last year that our oldest(8) would be on the child price and our youngest(2) would be free. That is the main reason. Plus I LOVE LOVE LOVE Disney.

We always have the "urge" and I always watch for cheap airfare. Got $115 RT from Albany, NY to MCO so off the 4 of us go for a 4 day weekend in Nov. It's our 3rd trip this year!

The fact that we were playing Disney Scene It every night...

And, being totally stressed out at work with deadlines...I needed something to look forward to...is there anything better to look forward to??? :earsboy: I tell you, it has gotten me through! 15 more days!

Last October our Daughter was found to be a Type 1 Diabetic. After 1 year of her healthy we want to celebrate. We have a standing agreement: when she is curried we get a "Kitchen Sink" at B&C. :cool1:

Also her doctor is/was at Tulan Medical Center in New Orleans. Wedo not know where she (the doctor) is. We are a little streased about that.

$27 per person non-stop, airfair from Southwest from Jackson, MS to Orlando!

Realizing we needed to decide what to do with our DVC points this year.

The DW and I got married in Nov 1980 and stayed at CR for our honeymoon. You do the math :cool1: ;)

We saw a Samantha Brown special on the Travel Channel about WDW at the holidays. It worked out perfect, this December 2nd is our 10th anniversary, my husband and I are both Christmas nuts, so it was a natural.

I got it for my birthday in July and havent lost a game yet. Dh's friend came over last night and we played 2 games. Both of them against me and I won both of them. LOL I find it so funny. :rotfl:

When we came to the realization that our oldest daughter will be graduating soon and getting into so many social things that it was time for us to take a final, huge, trip of her childhood lifetime.

Grief.

We lost both my mom and my father-in-law this year. I just needed to be away for Thanksgiving this year instead of home cooking dinner and crying in the kitchen. It will be a Thanksgiving of laughter and fun and fond memories of holidays past.
