What souvenirs did you get on your cruise?

Just wondering what souvenirs they have, what are most popular. I guess picture frames? Do they have scrapbooking sets and stickers? Thanks for your time! :flower:

We always get an ornament and a frame or two for the photos from Shutters. I bought some scrapbook stuff this last time around. They have a nice 12 x 12 album, papers and stickers now, all with a DCL theme. I really love the stuff at the nicer of the two shops, especially the clothing. They have a really nice black bag that folds up to fit in your luggage that I bought. It's a nice quality and has a very small DCL logo on it. I think it's 16.00, and it's awesome for carrying onshore and to excursions. I use it at home alot too.

They do have Scrapbooking sets. The one I bought includes "1 Sticker Sheet, 6 Designed Paper Sheets 12x12, 1 Sheet of Border Stickers, 3 Sheets of Adhesive Backed Shapes, 4 Paper Frames" and cost $15.00. I also bought some ABC stickers with characters on them. They also sold scrapbooks, but I didn't buy one. I just got back a couple weeks ago and can't wait to do my album!!

Something I bought on CC was a pareo/sarong that had Mickeys on it. Did anybody else get that? Before you start thinking it sounds horrible, mine is black, and the mickey shapes aren't perfect like a cartoon shape, they are sort of water-colorish so you almost have to look twice to see that it's Mickey! They had them in all different colors, and I thought that would be a cool souvenir that I could use a lot this summer. Just an idea-- :wave2:

We always get a Christmas ornament and a magnet for our vacation collection.

Then I did get a photo album, a zip up sweatshirt that I wear all the time, and a DCL coffee mug that I use every day. I wanted to get things that I would use a lot and thus think about the cruise a lot -- and both of these things are great! I would die if I broke the mug though - LOL!

On our cruise in January, my wonderful wife bought me a DCL watch. So, everytime I look down to see what time it is, I am reminded of our cruise. And, we I am having a bad day, I can look down and think about our next cruise. It is certainly my favorite souvenier.

I bought a crystal with my sons and my face in it...it turned out beautiful. I bought a picture album both cruises...I bought a new towel each cruise, I bought a fleece cruise line top last cruise and a wind breaker cruise line top this time, heck I spend more on souveniers than I do the cruise...or so it seems. BUT...you have to remember....you cant get that stuff anywhere else so if you like it....BUY IT!!!

We ALWAYS pick up a Christmas ornament, too. My dh says our tree is turning into a "Disney Tree". I can't argue with that!

We also always buy a tshirt for each one of us with the date on it.

And, I can't live without picking up some scrapbooking things!

How much was this? I was looking at sarongs today at a store near home for the cruise. But I thought it would be cool if I got a Disney theme one on the boat.

Hum, this question sorta reminds me of a commercial I saw once.

It was $25--I was pleasantly surprised! It really is cool, it just ties at the waist and is pretty long. My friend said she saw them on the boat in the gift shop, so you might want to look for them there. I got mine on CC.

Good luck!

We usually buy t-shirts & pins onboard and on CC, Christmas Ornaments when available and if we're traveling close to the holiday; we've also purchased a DCL snowglobe, & a Golden Mickey during last cruise (DH begged for one and is so happy to now have one). We've also bid and won framed menus at the silent auction -- we love this one! Also on our first cruise we bought towels on CC. We always buy a ton of magnets everywhere we go -- this is my addiction.

I bought tons of stuff this past January (first cruise). Scrapbook albums and pages/stickers, pins, blown glass ship ornament signed by Capt. Tom, propeller clock, t-shirts, photo crystal of my two kids, etc. I love them ALL, but the two I get the most day-to-day pleasure out of is my Capt. Mickey antenna topper and my DCL pen. Mickey on my antenna makes me smile! The pen is blue on the bottom with mickey ears on top. There's also a clear portion with a picture of the ship actually "floating" toward Cinderella's castle with Disney clouds in the background. I use it at work and it really reminds me of what's important in life and why I work-- things like Disney cruises with my family!

So, out of all the more expensive items we purchased, my purest joy comes from two items costing less than $10 combined! :confused3

I like my "can only be bought on Castaway Cay" baseball hat. Palm Trees and coordinates, its pretty cool. Among the ornaments, towels, t-shirts and boat with characters on it. We bought many items onboard.

sorry. I didn't see this thread...
Doesn't hurt to have too many ideas though.. :)

My favorite is my Radko ornament. I had a t-shirt from Castaway that I have worn out :sad2: and wanted to replace on my last trip but didn't see anything I liked as much. I did purchase a scrapbook on my last cruise (2004 on sale but we cruised in 2004 too) that I will enjoy using too. We also have travelling coffee mugs that are really nice.
