Just curious as to what others plan ahead of time to purchase or things they want to spend $ on.

My list so far..

Mr Potato Head parts
Some Disney board games
Stained glass in Canada
Bottles of wine in Germany
Silhouette of DS on Main Street

Pretty sad I know..but those are just a few things I know I need to get. I need to hear your lists so I don't forget anything.

The only item for purchase which is a guaranteed b4 I even arrive is the 2005 Mickey. Those are good collector items IMO.

One of those beautilful clocks at Japan in Epcot. The its a small world brand. I already have one, but want the big 425 dollar one with the swar. crystals. Thought about ordering it for the home for Valentines day. We feel in love with it in Oct.

And as always dvc merchandise

Don't forget the refillable mugs....even if you don't use them much at the resort, they are great for coffee and drinks when you get home.

Oh yeah, and the mickey chocolate covered pretzels, and the mickey pasta...great for making dinner when you get back...like bringing some disney magic home.

I always buy a couple of Christmas ornaments, maybe some pins, gummy bears, white choc. covered pretzels, the car antenna toppers and Mickey coffee at Downtown Disney. I always check for new souvenir videos too! Ok, I love to shop at WDW! :Pinkbounc

We always get Christmas ornaments and I always buy at least one shirt, but there are many things I have said I would get and still haven't.

In Epcot, I want to get some of the foods/candy from other countries. Japan has a huge section of candies I want to pick from. I also plan to buy a bamboo plant from Epcot one day, as well as the pearls (you choose your own oyster and they open it and clean the pearl and put it into a setting for you.) And in Mexico there is a book on symbols that I would love. I pretty much at some point want to have something from each country, but those are my main ones right now. I also love Figment and have yet to get anything with him on it.

In general, I've been looking for Tinkerbell pjs and have not found the right ones yet. And I would love to have pretty much everything at the Art of Disney stores, but it's quite out of my price range. Ahh..someday..about the same time we can stay at the Grand Floridian and eat at Victoria and Albert's. (so maybe never! :D )

We will be on the hunt for a "special" princess alarm clock for my 5yr old DD. We haven't been able to find the right one quite yet and are looking forward to her options on our trip in February.

Bath bombs from Basin at DTD. I just used my last one and I plan to stock up. I know I can get them online, but it's not the same.

I used to buy masks from Italy in Epcot on every trip, but I haven't been as pleased with the selection lately.

We always come back with way more than we intend to! I fully expect to buy shirts and hats for the 2 DDs, 2 nieces and 1 nephew. I want lots of antenna boppers. We will just be regular impulse buyers while we are there! :moped:

The only thing on my list is a souvenier refillable mug :bitelip:

That doesn't mean I won't come back with more, of course...

For my december trip I made a "shopping list". I knew I wanted a Polynesian resort sweatshirt jacket, Mickey Santa ears, ornaments, chocolate covered pretzels, MVMCP pins, holiday pins, Disney My Little Ponies for a friend, a MVMCP beanie, refillable mug, a disney teddy bear plush....

If I don't make a list I know I'll forget once I get there. -Steph

photo albums and scrapbook. Sillouettes of the kids made in MK.

First time going as an entire family mom, me, dd, 2 sisters, 2 bil, 3 nephews, 1 niece

for me- a new disney sweatshirt, mouse ears, a personalized wine glass for me and one for bf (we get home 2/12 gift for 2/14), things from Basin, new mickey shirt, rainforest cafe gear( got a sweatshirt here 3 years ago and get complements all the time), possibly a pearl from Japan

for DD-new shirt, ears, silouette, barettes, mickey shirt, rainforest cafe shirt, possibly a pearl from Japan for Val. day

A Mickey Mouse watch
Pins, Pins, and more Pins
A Sericel of Stitch

That's it for now. Maggie

My must have every trip is blown glass ornaments from Germany. Other than that, we'll make an occasional purchase if we see something we can't live without. ;)

Figment, Pooh characters, Indiana Jones hat, Stritch, Bell Hop Mickey Antenna Toppers (if I can't get them in WDW, I'll just order them online when I get home).

And are they ever gonna make an antenna topper for Mexico???

Chopstick set in China - was supposed to get this last May and forgot.

Personalized Mouse ears, Mickey roni & cheese, Mickey choc covered pretzels, rose water from Morocco, perfume from Norway, Disney charms (4 park icons and Fab 5 plus Eyeore), post cards of the four park icons, WL, and AKL (where we'll be staying), WL Disney Totem Pole, Zebra Domes, mugs, pictures of us taken on the rides and at the character meals, & stuff from the Basin. I would love to have a cuckoo clock from Germany. Oh yeah and LOTS of pictures.
I also bought my GD a white t-shirt that says Disney on it and has alot of the characters crowded around it and bought myself a long sleeve white t-shirt that says Disney (out of several of the Disney characters' body parts). I plan to get both shirts autographed and then framed when I get back.

I'm not sure yet. I never know what I'm going to buy until I get there, then I go shopping crazy. :earsgirl:
