What sort of foolishness would you like to see?-The end 9/27

State of the trip:
So The Word on the Proverbial street is that Free Dining starts 3/24. Which-YAY fewer people, plus now I don't have to sit with menus open and Excel blaring figuring out if Free dining would work better than my bounceback rate. However, I expect the front desk at Pop is going to be a Crazy place the day I leave, if you can dine free at Values.
The proverbial street is also informing me that $125 rates at the Swolphin are highly unlikely, so it looks like I'll be staying at Pop (but one can always hope, right?). I'll be in WDW with my boys-how can it be bad-right? :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes
In other news-I debated ordering a fridge, but figured I might as well go the classy trashcan of Ice route, as I think I'll most likely be either comandoing it or spending downtime at the villa. I'm 90% sure I'm going to take a towncar, and I'm deciding between Happy Limo, FL Tours, and Murray Hill transport-any thoughts are welcome.

Punkin413 posted some pictures of some nice ponchos she got at the Coleman Outlet for $.55 and some cool waterproof bags for electronics on her PTR. I'd planned on checking them out when I next went to our local outlets...I forgot to do so today, of course.  However, I did get a nice windbreaker from LL Bean that folds up that I'm thinking will make a nice poncho substitute.

Gotta love that Easter Bunny.

One year, when I was little (about 8) it snowed at Easter and there was huge giant Easter bunny foot prints in our yard in the snow. My brother discovered them and yelled for me to come outside so I did. We were so amazed!!!!! This just proved to us that the Easter bunny was real. :goodvibes

My mom & dad must've had a lot of fun out there in the dark, laughing, making those tracks.

We've used Tiffany Towncar (407) 370-2196 several times and they have always been reliable.

I like the towncar... fast, direct, and they'll even make a stop so you can pick up groceries if you tell them ahead of time. :thumbsup2

Kathy

Joining in. Your plans look great :thumbsup2
Thanks!
The towncar service i've had the most luck with..I can't mention on this site.....:confused3
Thanks for the input!

Kathy, you're about the third person to reccommend Tiffany. I'm thinking I may go with them.

That must have been a lot of fun for them!

Well, it's offically not Free dining when I'm going (not until I leave-although the mental image of the Pop lobby the 24th is scary :scared1: .) We're having a joint birthday party for Mickey and Minnie on Saturday, so I'm going to see if it's effecting their plans at all. They're staying until the 25th, but I'm thinking that they'll be somewhat insulated from the insanity due to being at BCV.

Hey, kiddo! I'm late to the party--I didn't realize the pre-TR had begun. :thumbsup2

I'm so tickled you get to go with the nephews. When I hit the Lotto, I'm taking my little great-nieces and my not so little great nephew.

Here's another vote for Tiffany. We've used them every trip since 2000 and have never had a problem. They're very accommodating and always right on time. Each driver has also given me a card with their cell phone number when we arrived which makes me feel safer when we're heading back to the airport at the crack of dawn.

Can't wait to hear more about all the plans!

Welcome!

I ended up booking with Tiffany, so that's one thing done.

So yesterday Minnie had not one, but two birthday parties! We had a party scheduled for both Mickey and Minnie, as their birthdays are 1 month apart. But Minnie will be turning the age TiggerBell turned in January, so Mickey had a surprise party planned for Minnie at their house later that day. Minnie was surprised, and the day was a great deal of fun. :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

They both got gifts from me that were (shockingly) Disney themed. I ordered Mickey a bag of Dole Whip mix from the Dole Whip company (he'd jokingly requested I bring him one home from WDW in December). Minnie got the three Imagineers' guide books, although she had the MK book. The cake at Minnie's surprise party was wicked awesome-it was a Disney scrapbook cake-I'd post pictures, but to be frank I'm too lazy to a)blur out Minnie's real name and b)put a watermark on it so some idiot on the 'net won't claim it as his or hers.

I did, however get more info on our WDW plans (Yay!   ). The Friday I arrive is "boys' choice," which could mean anything (and I mean that in a good way-I'm bringing my other pass with plus options on it just in case it's a waterpark), then Dinner at Boma. Saturday we're having breakfast at Tusker House (yay character meals! pluto: ::MickeyMo :tigger: :tigger: :mickeyjum :mickeyjum :mickeyjum :goofy: :goofy: ), then AK. Saturday evening is me and the boys at DHS/50's prime time. :woohoo: :woohoo: Then Sunday is boys' choice again. They'll be booking their car and airfare soon.

Guess what I'll be doing 4 months from now....
I'll be in WDW. and having dinner at Boma. :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

4 months until Donald's Safari Breakfast, and Night of a Million Dreams (NOAMD? LOL).

For those of you who read my December report, you may recall I got a stuffed Tigger for a family friend who was expecting. I met said baby last night, he's very cute and they loved the Tigger.

I can't wait to try the Tusker House Buffet. I'd be more likely to try this buffet rather than go to Boma even though I heard Boma is better.

If it's T minus 4 months to a Heather trip, you know a resort change will come....
So on the Resorts board today, I saw the Swolphin had a new ad up. I clicked on it...$159 for the Dolphin? I took it-it'll just be so easy to be a walk away from the family. :woohoo: :woohoo: So I'll be at Pop my first night, then the Dolphin after that.

So, the resort stay is official. So I now need to call Tiffany about the changes (my flighthome is an hour earlier :( and also they're now picking me up at the Dolphin rather than Pop). I also need to cancel my last 2 nights at Pop. WDW will transfer my luggage, which is always a plus. i'm also reconsidering ordering water. It just seems like it would be too much work-either having it at Pop and transport might be hard, plus with my resort fee at the Dolphin I get 2 bottles of water a day. I'm thinking that with the Dolphin being a convention resort, they might charge me for water. Maybe I could do a grocery stop, but I doubt Orlando has a late night grocery, PLUS I'd have to have the water resort hop with me.

oooooh the plot thickens! :lmao:

doesn't matter - you're going to WDW and you're savin' some money - doesn't get better than that!:dance3:

I agree. Now I just gotta get cracking on SR to make up for the bigger cost.
Hi, I'm here to see if there's any potential stalking to be had? :rotfl:

Lessa was stalking me, then I switched resorts. I may grab a cell number from a US based Focker just in case.

Oh, phew. That would have been *serious*.....fear not, the Dolphin has an ah-cade.
