They were still leaning towards going to TL. Sally called me, apparently TSM had shut down while Mickey and Minnie were on it for about 35 minutes. Although i could have lived my dream of being evacuated from a Disney ride, it is a very good thing I did not go-Minnie said they were in pitch black for about 60 seconds. Had I been there, I would have redefined the phrase "scream like a girl." Anyway, Minnie and Mickey returned safely. I headed over to the Villa, taking some pictures of SAB (which aren't in my flickr, apparently) as I went. I greeted them, Ferdie gave me a pin to replace the one I'd traded for pirate Goofy. We headed out to the van, but not before I yoinked the bounceback slip the trash and towel people had left in the Villa. I perused it, and opted against it as it was for Free Dining type-times (I come over, steal their paper, then don't use it.)
As we rode along in the van to TL, the boys were kind of glum about it being our last day. Mickey was giving them the we'll come back spiel, I was assuring them it was ok to be sad. Jack commented that he thought the boys would end up moving or working down there.* Ferdie was suggesting that they just stay. Sally asked how he suggested they afford that. Ferdie's response? "Save up." He wasn't being a smart-alek at all, it was just "save up." We arrived at TL-i was surprised by how close it is to DTD-Minnie says there's bus sharing between there and TL, I haven't noticed it as I've never taken a bus from anywhere other than POR/FQ. We got out, and headed in. Mickey and Jack got lockers and towels. We stored our stuff, and headed off to Crusher Gusher. I left my camera if the locker, because it's not like I had a waterproof case for electronics with me, or anything.

There was a logic at the time, but I forget what it was.
It was decided that the adults would go down in pairs, and I'd go down in a three-er with the boys. I was a little apprehensive, as I'd never been to any waterpark before (I learned to swim later in life than most kids, so it wasn't really an option). We got in line. I saw people coming off without shoes, so I thought you couldn't take your shoes on it, so I instructed the boys to take off theirs. We wandered up-we were doing the Pineapple coaster. Sally was being a little apprehensive, she was concerned that there would be too much darkness-Minnie said there wasn't much. Minnie was chatting about how she liked this coaster, I said "And we should keep our butts up, right?"

confused: )-the face Minnie made at me, but Minnie is not blue. Then she was instructing Jack and Sally to keep themselves up to avoid hitting the roller thingies. At this point we passed a CM, whom I asked about the water shoes-we could wear them. I hurriedly put mine on the wrong feet, and told the boys not to listen to weirdoes in line. They weren't amused. We boarded our ride-of-our-life-raft, positioned ourselves, and we're off. Whee! This was fun! Then I realized how dark it was, and we went down a drop. "Hmm," I thought, "I hope Sally's ok with this." We landed. I tried to gracefully get out of the raft, while hurrying towards the Photopass photographer to get our picture. Whoops! I went under. Oh well. I headed over, got the card, and then began stage-mothering the Photpass Photgrapher "Put his on there! And hers!" Pictures loaded, we gathered our thoughts. Sally was not a fan of the ride, and was staying in the splash pool if we were going again. Mordie wanted to ride alone. (cue vintage tape of tween Heather "I want to ride by myseeeelf.") It was decided that I would also ride alone, I was excited to try the banana one which you can only go on in two-sies. We queued up. Mordie got to the front and was told that you needed two people for the Banana side, so he had to do Pineapple again. He went down by himself. Then I was told the same and got ready to go down (I didn't know if the rules would be different for me due to my being bigger than Mordie). Public service announcement-if you're large, fat, pooh-sized, what have you-do not go on Crusher Gusher solo. It's hard to position yourself away from the rollers, so your butt will hurt. I landed, once again went under water to get off, and regrouped with everyone else.
As it was approaching 11, we decided to eat. Minnie and Mickey had brought water (Poland Spring-w00t). We headed over to Leaning Palms. I had done my homework on the menu ahead of time, and decided I wanted a grilled cheese pretzel. But I didn't want the bucket and shovel, and I wanted fries and not fruit or pudding. I could order my pretzel a la carte with fries. Minnie had cheese pizza, and Jack and Mickey had burgers. Sally had a chili cheese dog, and the boys split a burger. Everyone liked their food-it was funny, everyone kept on checking to make sure they had vegetarian options for me, then I'd say I was getting a grilled cheese pretzel, and they'd be interested as to what it was. Sally said her chili dog was better than BB's, which is noteworthy given it seemed she preferred BB.
*Mordie is pretty set on going to college in FL, I've tried suggesting the WDW CP. Ferdie plans on working there.
Up next-we all catch a wave...
