What songs do you have on your IPod that you think nobody else has?

DH has the Slade song on his Ipod. (so no, not that very rare)

Some unique songs by popular bands:

Romeo and Juliet Dire Straits
Hot Patootie - Meatloaf (Rocky Horror)
Russians - Sting

Unpopular songs:

Real Men Joe Jackson
Love and Affection Joan Armatrading
Troy- Sinead O connor

I've got both "Russians" and "Romeo and Juliet" on mine. :thumbsup2

I would be VERY surprised if anyone else on the DIS and the 2nd Buggles CD "Adventures in Modern Recording" on their iPod. :)

I have a few that I will fall over if anyone else has:

Hubba Hubba Zoot Zoot/Caramba
Playa Blanca/Afric Simone
Don't Stop / Rodway

The first song is something they used to play in the early 80's on WLOL in Minneapolis back when Heinz and Berglund were the DJs. It is hilarious and I have had a tape off the radio for years. Then I found it online last year.

Second song was the theme song of a Club Med in Mexico that I went to as a child. I had the 45 and I wanted it on CD. FINALLY found it.

The last song I had been looking for for over 25 years and then through the wonders of the internet I found a guy in the Philippines who had it and he e-mailed me the mp3. :worship:

I have a bunch of others that are not so obscure, but I'll still be surprised to hear someone else has:

Clones/Alice Cooper
Nobody Said it was Easy/LeRoux
Going Down/Greg Guidry
It's Inevitable/Charlie
A little bit of Soap/Nigel Olsson
This night won't last forever/Michael Johnson
Take a Little Rhythm/Ali Thomson
Going to the Top/John Waite

I have nearly 4000 songs on my iPod -- I could list a LOT more.

I don't have an IPOD, but I do have an MP3 player.

What songs do I have on there that nobody else has?
Hmm..let's see.
An acapella recording of "Flower of Scotland", which is like the national anthem of Scotland (I think)
A French rendition of "Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo"
"Forever Young" from "The Carebears Movie II"
A handful of live recordings by my favorite renfaire group, The Brobdignagian Bards

Nara - ES Posthumus. (Otherwise known as the theme to Cold Case)
I also have some CSS (Cansei De Ser Sexy) songs. I don't know one person who has them one there but me. (They sing the Apple commercial "Music is my boyfriend, music is my..."

DH has that Music is my boyfriend song on his Ipod.

I have tweeter and the monkey man by the traveling wilburys, When I'm 64 by the Beatles, Rose Garden by Lynn Anderson and Harper Valley PTA by Loretta Lynn. I am betting I am the only one with those on my Ipod. LOL I have an interesting mix on my Ipon. everything from country to rock to r&b to disney!

I used to have the Harper Valley song by the original artist -- not Loretta Lynn.

Right now I'm doing the Computer Chair Boogie to "The Sun is Gonna Surely Shine" (aka the theme from 'Blossom'). :rotfl: :dancer:

Violent Femmes cover of CRAZY(originally done by Knarles Barkley).

At least I had a hard time finding it about 6 weeks ago.

That sounds very interesting. Did you find it on ITunes or where?

*whistles along to "Bright Side of Life" by Monty Python*:rolleyes1

Hate to disappoint you, but I've got all of those except Leningrad, including the Nightmare Soundtrack.

I can't really think of any strange or rare tracks that I would have on my ipod. :confused3

LOVE "Mary's Prayer". I have that too. I'm a big DD fan but I don't know that I have a live version of that song. What is it from?

Thanks for the reminder of "Six Underground" -- always liked it but never bothered to download it.

I have a lot of "weird" stuff. I have RHPS, and 2 versions of "Run Runaway" (Slade and Off Kilter). I have "Istanbul..." but by the 4 Lads. I also want "Bright Side of Life" played at my someday funeral. (no kidding--Eric Idle even sang that at his mom's funeral).
Here is some of my bizarro stuff:
Blue's Clues theme and mail call
C is for Cookie
the Vessel with the Pessel segment of "Court Jester" (Danny Kaye movie)
Bluto's pep talk from "Animal House"
Spiderpig
Indian Love Call and Ah Sweet Mystery of Life by Nelson Eddy and Jeanette McDonald
Underdog and Mr. Ed theme songs
I've got Spurs that Jingle Jangle Jingle
Happy Trails to You
Lots of Disney stuff (Main Street music, TOT area loop, etc.)
and I will bet you $5 that no one else has 148 songs by the Monkees on an Ipod!
