What Software do you use to watermark your photos?

Are there any cheap/low cost ones out there?
Should I just bite the bullet and invest in Photoshop? I can still get student pricing since my son is in school, so it won't cost 2 arms and a leg, instead it'll only cost 1/2 an arm!

I have an old version of photoshop elements (2.0) that I use.
There are lots of online guides for using photoshop to make watermarks.
