What smells remind you of being in WDW?

when I do the laundry .......and I put in bleach in my whites......YUP smells like Disney......chlorine....

I have to say the smell of "pine trees on a dewey morning." It always reminds of the time we stayed at Port Orleans-Dixie Landings and leaving for the parks early in the morning. It was the first smell that hit us when we left our room. It was such a memorable smell that when I do smell it, it takes me right back to that resort.

I love it when I smell a mixture of popcorn and candy. It reminds me of Main St.

Over here in the UK the fuel company BP rebranded itself and started to sell food and other groceries as well as petrol in its 'Wild Bean Cafe'. They now have an in store environment that is air conditioned and smells 24/7 like roast coffee beans. For me that transports me back in a flash to the 7-11 on the 192 on way to or from the parks. It's even better if it's during our summer time and I'm wearing shorts.

On the recently mentioned topic of sounds causing memory recall, when I playback our holiday DVD there is a bird call made by a bird with dark shimmery plummage that looks like a cross between a small crow and a starling, like the US version of a magpie. That noise takes me back to Epcot where they were numerous and quite brave begging for scraps.

When I'm at WDW, I like to get up early in the morning and walk around the resort. They've normally just finished watering the plants and everything smells so fresh and sweet. So, I guess it would be that fresh flowers smell that you get in the morning.

My Dh was at work on Friday, and got a quick smell of stag. air, and immediately thought of Epcot the Norway ride! I wish we were there right now!

Every once in a while I'll get a whiff of that stale water smell similar to the smell from all the water rides, the Poly lobby and even the hotel bathrooms. It's not the best smell but it takes me back to my favorite place in the world!

How true! In places where the water is heavily chlorinated, I think of Disney. Also, the Mickey soap brings back good memories.

Evergreen and cinnamon...because I used to work at Disney Days of Christmas at DTD. The smell always brings me back!

The smell I remember the most is the floral smell in the Gran Floridian. Can someone can tell me how to recreate it without spending a fortune on large flower arrangements for my house?

Basin, our first place to go when we get to Disney is Downtown Disney and standing by Pooh's fountain and smelling the Basin store, I know I'm there!!! We have a Basin at the Mall of America. Always reminds me of getting to Disney and looking forward to our vacation!!!

This goes back to childhood time spent at Disney, but traditional coconut scented sunblock. Instant Disney in a bottle.

Mmmm ... gardinia and lilac. Always remind me of Epcot between England and France on the bridge, and the Polynesian. I usually try to pick some up at the florist when I need a fix!

For me it's the plasticy/vinyly smell of the ponchos. Straight back there.:goodvibes

that smell of pesticides in the early humid morning air, as you're walking to the food court - breathe deep.....

Ahhh the fresh smell in the morning reminds me of getting up really early and walking to the food court while they are still cleaning down the pool area!
