What size are the fridges in the OKW Studio Rooms?

Hey,

Does anyone know how big the fridges are in the OKW Studio Rooms? Do they have a freezer big enough to hold a few microwaveable dinners and some ice cream?

I have also heard that upon request housekeeping will provide a toaster and a blender. If so, do we request these upon arrival or should we fax this request a few days before arrival?

The freezer portion is very small. These are undercounter refrigerators that hold your drinks and food in the refrigerator pretty good, but not the frozen stuff to well.

I think you can make your requests when you arrive.

Thanks for the info. If I understand you right, these fridges are similar to what they have in University residences, probably enough room for a couple of ice cube trays in the freezer? You think we can request a larger fridge when we get there?

The refrigerators are bigger than the "cube" refrigerators that the college kids use, the are as tall as the counter and about
2 1/2 ft wide. As the previous poster said the freezer section is not the greatest, it will keep frozen microwave dinners or meats mostly frozen but will not be good for keeping ice cream.
You can not request a larger frig there would be no place to put it. But you can definitely get a toaster and blender.
The studio refrigerators hold quite a bit though, we have stayed for 2 weeks and the frig held plenty for 2 people. We had juice, soda, milk,wine, butter, lunch meat, 2 packages of individual chicken breasts, 2 steaks, 4 hamburger patties, pepperoni, cheeses, english muffins, rolls, eggs, bacon and leftovers. So you can see they do hold a lot. We bring our George Foreman grill and between the grill and the microwave we eat about 5 dinners, 7 lunches and almost all of our breakfasts in our room and save a lot of money for when we splurge on some of the great WDW restaurants.
