What site did you use to buy re-sale?

DH and I are finally ready to start looking into buying DVC and are going to go the re-sale route. Does anyone have any suggestions on sites they've used for buying re-sale? There are so many options out there I wanted to get others opinions on which ones are good. Thanks!

I've bought from dvcbyresale.com and dvcresalemarket.com and had good experiences with both. People on here have bought from all of the ones mentioned in the sticky post at the top of this forum, and IMHO they all probably fine. What matters more is finding the right contract to suit your needs! (because Disney is a "need", obviously.. ;) )

EDIT: I should add that, while dvc-resales.com did not have what I was looking for at the time, I had signed up for their email list and Scot called me just to offer assistance and information with the process and everything. I'd definitely give them a strong look as well as they seem to be a top notch operation based on feedback from others on here!

The ones that focus on dvc are all legit. Instead of focusing on a specific company, go with the contract you like. Ask questions regarding closing fees (set a cap), and read your contract carefully. I've caught mistakes on the contracts (listed x points, only y points left on the current use year) and backed out.

Good luck!

I ended up using the one that had the resort and use year that I wanted. At the time, there weren't a lot of contracts to pick from with a use year that would work for us at the resort we wanted.

I'm a first time buyer who passed ROFR last week. We purchased through DVCResaleMarket and they've been great so far - super responsive, negotiating was easy, and they have been quick on everything so far

Good luck!

I used resalesdvc back in 2012. Very responsive, great communication, answered all questions I had before deciding to make an offer.

Their website is on the censorship list for whatever reason, so hopefully I don't get points or whatever for mentioning them.

Mike Collier from the DVC sales video now works with them, too. I personally thought they were a first class operation, even calling me on the phone to explain things and provide status updates along the way.

(Be sure to post the URL and not simply the name, folks! www.dvcresalemarket.com )

We are first time buyers as well and just closed on our Purchase. We used the same site Poster RG35 mentioned and they where great! We also where working with www.dvcresalemarket.com at one point but the wife and i waited to long and lost the contract.

I would search every site and look for a contract you really love. We lost out on our first one but the 2nd one we put an offer on was so much better. take your time as its a purchase for life and don't want to rush it.
Good Luck

As a first time buyer, we used DVC Magic Resales and were very happy with them.
However, I agree with other posts, that there are many very good companies that deal exclusively with DVC. I would look at many of them, find the contract that fits your needs. Points, cost and Use Year. That would be the company I would use.

I've used the Timeshare Store and Fidelity with success. Fidelity usually has better prices.

We used www.**********.com Great sales staff, outstanding communication and worry free transactions. A+ rated with BBB and knows how to deal with DVC on resales. You won't be disappointed. Talk with **** or ****.

We bought a fidelity twice. Their prices were better and they were more willing to negotiate. They aren't the most communicative nor are they easy to reach.

We used dvcresale and had an excellent experience. Everything was quicker than the times quoted, excellent communication and just a great overall experience. We worked with Scott Kaufman. We just closed yesterday.

I just put in an offer. After it is accepted what is the average time before you hear about ROFR

I used the timeshare store they were great. but I had watched on several places, it was the timeshare store that came up with what I was specifically looking for
