What silly thing do you look forward to the most when heading to the World?

Unfortunately, this is no longer part of the script. The Tomorrland Transit Authority (now called the Tomorrowland Peoplemover) has a new spiel.

I loved that part too.

WHAAAAAAAAAAT????? :guilty::sad2:

A tiny part of me just died.....

so many little things but I LOVE the wake up calls - are they really still from Stich?

For me, getting on the Magical Express bus makes it real! Right there, I leave everything else behind. Now I'm on Disney time!

We're DVCers, and the BWV is our home resort. For me, throwing open those Lanai doors for the first time, stepping out onto the balcony, hearing the sounds of the Boardwalk seeing the Friendship boats, and feeling that warm Florida breeze is my "special moment". Guess that's why I've never had an inclination to stay at another resort--I'd miss that rush of feeling.

I love it when we get the ME tags in the mail. that makes it all real

Ride on the ME

This year I have had a mean craving for Beaches and Cream Ice cream we did the kitchen sink last year what a great time and memory that was.

Of course the castle lights.

Actually we just got back 2 weeks ago and heard them paging Mr. Tom Morrow. I thought it was changed too.

  • My alarm going off at 4 a.m. to get ready to go to the airport!!! This year I will wake up to Mickey Mouse March.
  • Por favour mantengase alejado de las puertas
  • My first cocktail by the pool
  • Chocolates on the pillow from turndown services (We promised our kids that they would be the first year, but then realized it was only and deluxes. Last year was the first year we finally got them and they were so excited.)
  • Not making our bed, cooking, cleaning or driving the WHOLE time we are there!
  • A nap by the pool while my DH watches the kids....this is my present this year...but this time, no disturbing Mom!

Got the wake up call this morning and it's still Stitch! "Good morning! No sleeping!!! Hahahaha!"

The first thing we do is RUN to our room immediately after check in and JUMP on the beds in pure delight that we've come home again!

As a huge fan of the movie "Best in Show", I LOVE the part during the Great Movie Ride where I can turn to my wife and ask, "say, over there...isn't that James Cagney?"

I like taking a group picture with the glasses on in its a bugs life tree. I have a few of these and they all come out really well. I also must must get my ornament on first day and take it to be customized lol I know.

Did they bring it back???? It was definitely gone after they reopened last year, during the Space Mountain refurb.

DH & I have started rotating hotels on our visits the last few years and my favorite thing is arriving at the hotel, seeing our room for the first time and then spending the day exploring the resort. We enjoy having a nice dinner and relaxing so that we are ready to hit up the parks on the first full day. Just being at the hotel gives me a sense of happiness on arrival day. The next trip will be at the POR and we can't wait!

Hi
I love hearing the weather forecast on I think its the local channel with weather on the eights and they play that twinkling music!! I know a bit daft but I know I am back!!

I know this is silly, but my DH and I always repeat the monorail instructions in spanish which tell you to stand clear of the doors. And when I hear it I get emotional. I also LOVE when they say "Welcome home" when you arrive at check-in, it used to be only as DVC members now they all say it!

Lol , same here except we don't speak spanish and it always comes out as gibberish but still something we really look forward to hearing :)

I always look forward to the music on Splash Mountain. The first time you turn on the TV and you see the Disney park show whatever it is called now. Trying new snacks!!

i love the welcome home
and i also enjoy haveing to explain to the cm at check in yes there realy are 3 josephs in the group

but as for silly things it would be singing disney songs
or the look when the cell phone goes off if its some one in the goup calling they normaly have a disney song for a ring tone

we have always driven so we see who sees WDW first. that person gets kisses ffrom everyone else. Silly, but means we are really there.

Just listening to the sounds of the seven seas lagoon..... the boats whistles, the waves, the music you can sometimes hear from the MK. We stayed on the water at the GF my first ever trip to the world (my honeymoon) and waking up to those sounds and falling asleep to them was the best. I wish I could record it so I could play it when I am home.
