Hey, you got married the same year as me! What was embarrassing was we returned to the hotel where we honeymooned this year, and I told people there that we were returning after 43 years-couldn't believe this Math teacher miscounted!
It's 10 years since DH retired, but only 20 years in our house. But that's at least twice as long as we've lived in any other house.

My wife and I are not into moving, for vastly reasons. I have lived in 4 homes in my entire life, 2 with my parents, 2 with my wife. All within 6 miles of where I am right now. My wife is an Air Force Brat who moved more times than she can remember before age 10. Two different countries, four different states. Then her parents divorced and she moved here and lived a lot more places as her got married a couple more times, and moved frequently. By the time I met her, she was SOOOOO DONE with moving.
My goal is to break my mom's record of living in the same house 53 years.
