We've been to Sea World several times (Including Ohio a few times and San Diego years ago). We were last at the Sea World Orlando in 2007 for 1 day. We saw Believe, Blue Horizons, Clyde & Seamore, Sea Lions Tonight and I believe the one in the Nautica theatre that no longer exists (or is the same as A'Lure?).

I know definates for us are the Clyde & Seamore and Sea Lions Tonight and I would like to see A'Lure. Blue Horizons was good too.

We are going on Saturday August 15th. We are planning on the morning to knock out Manta, Kraken and Journey into Atlantis, go over to make dining reservations at 10:00am at Sharks (ate there last time and the kids loved it). I think Sharks opens at 11:30am so have lunch first thing at 11:30am. That would have us done with lunch at around 1pm or so.

I looked at July and the first Saturday in August schedules and there isn't really enough time to see all the shows.

Would love some recommendations. Is one of the Shamu shows better than the other? If you go to the evening Shamu Rocks at 9:15pm, where and how to you get to see Reflections at 9:50pm?

Does anyone know how long each show is? I wish it told you the length on the website.

Anyother tips?

The Shamu Rocks show is a definite and you will have plenty of time to make it over to the bayside stadium in time for the fireworks display, I believe there was about a ten minute gap between the shamu show ending and the fireworks beginning. You don't necessarily have to watch from the stadium..but I believe that's the only place you can see the entire presentation (water effects and such). Since you have kids they might enjoy the pets ahoy show.

And you are right about both sea lions show...they are a riot!

The regular day shows are about 25 minutes long, and the night shows are about 15-20.
Youll have plenty of time to make it to Bayside since they are next door to each other for reflections.
Personally I think the night Shamu Rocks is better then the day show. But thats me.

There is a pattern to the shows, and if you can hit them in some semblance of an order, you should be able to hit them all. I dont remeber off hand, but there should be a show schedule online that you can plan out going from Point a-b-c. I would try and start at one side of the park, and work from Blue Horizons to Sea Lions, to Shamu.Or the other way around.

I agree with Parkersgirl! Shamu Rocks is NOT to be missed! the music and Shamu make it awesome! we had plenty of time to walk around to see the fireworks. The crowd all goes one way, to the right , just follow the crowd. I found a good spot is near the Pearl divers, but anywhere is pretty much a good spot.

Sounds like you haven't been there this year. Now you go to the left to Bayside stadium to watch Reflections, the new fireworks show.

You can see the fireworks in the sky from the other side of the lake, but you don't hear whatever they are saying or music from there.

Yep - 2 years ago, these were our favorites. Hands down DH and the kids said these two were priority. I think I'd also like to see Pet's ahoy because we didnt' get to see it last time.
